We reasoned in the Coachella thread that she is possibly just cancelling her Australia/NZ/Singapore dates in the next few months. I'm sure Coachella contacted a representative of hers to ensure she would perform before putting out the poster.

Yeah I thought so? Maybe she meant the Australian/NZ ones. The article I read didn't specify the length of the break.

Damn you have fast fingers!
I really like this lineup actually. I'm obviously not going but it's fun to pretend! I'm going next year probably though.

Guys, I really don't want Imagine Dragons to be back. Making fun of them all festival is too much work.

Lots of talk that Arcade Fire could be playing Bonnaroo, any chance Sasquatch pulls them? No chance. They were going to play in 2011 behind The Suburbs, but then that whole LiveNation debacle happened and we got a resurgent Modest Mouse set instead. Also, they headlined the Gorge last year, and I doubt they'd make more money headlining a festival at the Gorge (no matter how corporate some people think it has become) than they would headlining their own show. Ah okay, thanks for clearing it up. Didn't know all that stuff happened.

I agree, RTJ + Kendrick seems like a pretty strong possibility. I feel like Pemberton will get Kanye or Drake this year.
As for Arcade Fire, I know they just played the Gorge but I think they still might have a shot based on their popularity.

1. The National @ Sasquatch 2. Panda Bear @ Sasquatch 3. Arcade Fire @ the Saddledome 4. Frank Ocean @ Pemberton 5. Flying Lotus @ Pemberton 6. Dan Deacon @ The Royal Canadian Legion #1 7. Modest Mouse @ Mac Hall 8. Outkast @ Sasquatch 9. Gesaffelstein @ Sasquatch 10. Future @ Flames Central (any Calgarian can tell you that Stampede is a bunch of bullshit and this concert was the perfect cure for that bullshit) 11. TV on the Radio @ Pemberton 12. Operators @ Republik 13. Run the Jewels @ Republik (would be higher if I hadn't seen them in 2013) 14. Kendrick Lamar @ Pemberton 15. Fucked Up @ Republik 16. Titus Andronicus @ Commonwealth 17. Pixies @ Mac Hall 18. Parquet Courts @ Sasquatch 19. Lil B @ Commonwealth 20. Chromeo @ Flames Central
Seeing the lists you guys come up with makes me wish I lived somewhere that got better shows. That being said I think more tours are stopping in Calgary than ever before and our live music scene has only been improving.

Wow must be a pretty nice friend! He only gave me the Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, and Nirvana. The rest I got at several different record stores in Portland. My mistake. Still pretty awesome though
