Some of us actually still respect the artists we listen to and buy their music! What did you buy today??
Father John Misty - Fear Fun (CD) Beach House - Bloom (CD)

Yep. It's always been in the back of my mind as well. These threads always get fun around Christmas and tax return season.

Haha I used to give you so much shit about pirating music and you're like one of the few people here who actually buys music.
Peatrick, you're still a choad. Sorry, bro.

Do iTunes purchases count? I would say downloads purchased should count too

Honestly, I would say this thread is more for the people who enjoy collecting physical copies of music as well as the record store experience, but I can appreciate anyone who purchases music in any format. So, sure!

I bought every available piece of vinyl that I didn't already own from Black Dice over the weekend:
Black Dice - Manoman Black Dice - Cone Toaster Black Dice - Rodriguez
and I picked up copy #70 out of 350 of their hand screen printed editions of Mr. Impossible. I was shittin' bricks when the online stock sold out, but now I gots one! This thing is a treasure. It has a Rastafarian gloss.
As far as "holy shit" experiences go for hearing familiar songs on vinyl for the first time, Black Dice offers the best of them.

It's a pre-order so I haven't actually heard it yet. I've only heard the lead single, and I cannot get enough of it.

I'm going to ruin this thread in two weeks, once I finally move to a city with an actual record store. I'm going to spend like my entire student loan on records. I'll figure out rent and food out later.

I actually spent an extra $10 on the FB&tC LP as opposed to the CD because the LP version had a live version of "Oddballs" that the CD didn't. Money well spent.
