Honestly, I would say this thread is more for the people who enjoy collecting physical copies of music as well as the record store experience, but I can appreciate anyone who purchases music in any format. So, sure!
Now that I've gotten a job, I finally started my vinyl collection. So in the last 2 months this is what I've bought:
A Tribe Called Quest - The Low End Theory The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band The Black Keys - El Camino Descendents - Milo Goes to College Elliot Smith - Either/Or The Flaming Lips - Transmissions From The Satellite Heart Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues Frank Zappa - 200 Motels Frank Zappa - Chunga's Revenge Frank Zappa - Weasels Ripped my Flesh Frank Zappa - Zoot Allures Jack White - Blunderbuss Mastodon - The Hunter (Signed) Mr. Bungle - Mr. Bungle Neutral Milk Hotel - In The Aeroplane Over the Sea Opeth - My Arms, Your Hearse Primus - Frizzle Fry Radiohead - OK Computer Ween - The Mollusk

I bought every available piece of vinyl that I didn't already own from Black Dice over the weekend:
Black Dice - Manoman Black Dice - Cone Toaster Black Dice - Rodriguez
and I picked up copy #70 out of 350 of their hand screen printed editions of Mr. Impossible. I was shittin' bricks when the online stock sold out, but now I gots one! This thing is a treasure. It has a Rastafarian gloss.
As far as "holy shit" experiences go for hearing familiar songs on vinyl for the first time, Black Dice offers the best of them.
I'm going to ruin this thread in two weeks, once I finally move to a city with an actual record store. I'm going to spend like my entire student loan on records. I'll figure out rent and food out later.
