More likely a bit of competition for attendees. After the strength of last year's Pemby lineup, I could potentially see some of our Canadian brethren forgoing Sasquatch in favor of Pemberton. Not everyone has the funds to be able to pull off both. True... First tier of Pemberton presale (plus camping) is $320 (CAD) before fees. That's a lot more attractive for us Canadians considering the weakness of our dollar right now. That's like $280 for all you American folks by the way.

Pemberton is officially back from July 16-19. It will be interesting to see how much competition between the two there is. Maybe not as much because Sasquatch is back to one weekend?

TV on the Radio plays a show in Seattle on their tour. Likely out. A Xmas show in Seattle does not eliminate an act from Sasquatch. Someone smarter than Jeff please chime in. I chimed in on page 26

They seem like a band that could likely end up playing Sled Island, so you may still get your chance to see them. I was thinking that this morning! Seem like a good possibility. I might be in Europe for Sled this year though.

TV on the Radio still looking like a really strong possibility. They play the Deck the Hall Ball tonight but no NW dates on the Spring 2015 tour they just announced.

Kodaline looking like a strong possibility. They skip the PNW in mid-May but play Western Canada. Their last stop on the tour is in Columbus a few days before Sasquatch though. Don't know much about this band, but they seem like maybe just a bland kinda indie-pop thing.

Adding to Rustie rumours, he still hasn't announced a rescheduled date for Seattle but he added a Portland date. So if he doesn't add a Seattle date soon I'd say we have a good chance of landing him!

Hey guys I saw this on the Roo boards in their confirmation thread. I have no idea if the dude is credible or not. I heard from San Fermin that they'd been booked at some fests. Sasquatch is a definite for them, so maybe Roo? Nice! Are you going to be emailing any bands or managers this year by chance?

I was supposed to see the J&MC at Sled Island during the flood year. I was pretty disappointed when it got cancelled, Psychocandy is one of my favourite albums of the 1980s.

New Purity Ring track just dropped tonight, looks like they're gearing up for a new album in early 2015. They were great when I saw them in YYC in 2012 and 2013, I'd love to see them at Sasquatch. They played the festival in... 2012?

Lightning Bolt would blow honey bucket doors down, but I think I'd take Thee Oh Sees from that list because I want all of my friends to see Thee Oh Sees, and Lightning Bolt on a stage is uncomfortable for everyone. I want to feel uncomfortable.

But Snacks would choose the Flaming Lips, and that's all that really matters, right? True... I wish I could say that I'm actually the one that books the lineup but sadly, that's not the case. So yeah my choices don't really matter.

Hopefully the positive reception of Deafheaven last year paves the way for more "heavy" acts at Sasquatch.

Fuck yeah Lightning Bolt are playing shows again. If I could choose any band on that list to play Sasquatch, it would be Lightning Bolt.

I've only listened to it once, and it didn't grab me as quickly as their last few, but it's definitely solid. I'd say if you're a big fan you'd love it! Sweet, thanks! I'm not the biggest fan in the world but I've found all of their music to be at least enjoyable. From the sounds of it this one won't be any different.

Natalie Prass makes some pretty good music, and she's getting more popular now. Debut album is out in January, and she'll be playing in North America in May. Consider her possible!
