1. The Cure 2. Mac DeMarco 3. Four Tet 4. M83 5. Sufjan Stevens 6. Digable Planets 7. Disclosure 8. Chelsea Wolfe 9. Yeasayer 10. Vince Staples I had Chelsea Wolfe on all my lists up until the final one. The Sufjan/Wolfe crossover just isn't going accommodate me seeing more than 2-3 of her songs unfortunately. Damn that's a bummer. Oh well, solid list you have!

This schedule makes it painfully obvious how shitty the top three lines of this lineup actually are. Someone had to say it. Yeah there's something missing for sure. Saturday is such a waste. And Monday's Bigfoot stage is weak. I really do like Friday & Sunday. And the main stage (Sasquatch stage I guess) on Monday is great too. Edit: actually, after reading my comment, I'm glad Monday looks the way it does, any more acts added to Bigfoot (pooping some of the current Bigfoot acts to the Yeti stage) would cause too much conflict. It's all that fuckin Saturday's fault!

I'm sure after some research this could/will change, but as of right now, here's what made me say "HELL YEAH!": 1. The Cure 2. Grimes 3. Sufjan Stevens 4. ASAP Rocky 5. M83 6. Vince Staples 7. Chelsea Wolfe 8. Big Grams 9. Florence & the Machine 10. The Lucas Bros. Here's my final list based on the scheduling info, conflicts, etc. 1. The Cure 2.Sufjan Stevens 3.Grimes 4.Mac DeMarco 5.M83 6.A$AP ROCKY 7.Big Grams 8.Vince Staples 9.Oh Wonder 10.Frightened Rabbit

I'd go with Rudimental, but that's just because I don't like Tycho. Options sure are limited Saturday night. Yowza. I really want to see Tycho but there's no way that I will last long after M83 with such minimal options. I'm actually enjoying the thought of heading back to camp for some beers with a minimal amount of people around. My plan as well. I'm going to check out a bit of Vic Mensa on the way out and then split, have a few drinks and rest up for a big Sunday & Monday. Edit: I'd go with Tycho (to answer the question of Tycho or Rudimental)

I have got mine as late as first week of May (Calgary) so I wouldn't worry until next Friday atleast Cool thanks. I won't stress for a week or two. I still haven't received mine yet. Pisses me off that every year I buy presale in November, and I'm always one of the last to receive a wristband. Seriously, I bought blindly into your festival Sasquatch, I want a fuckin bedazzled bracelet! And I want it first! And a sticker! Throw in a journal too you pricks!

Here's some rampant speculation: What if a band was booked as an add after their own tour was announced? I mean, they'd definitely want to give themselves a chance to sell out their own show before announcing a festival (right?), so they'd wait as long as possible to announce Sasquatch, as to not compete with sales in Seattle. I bring this up because The Kills have a gap of two days between Salt Lake City and Vancouver, then Seattle. The name "The Kills" would also fit the ghost sail on the Sasquatch poster that did exist but now doesn't. They were 2nd line from the top on Coachella's poster and listed 7th on the Friday billing. So they have been festival ranked pretty high this year atleast once. Again, this is purely speculation because I'm getting pretty anxious to have the schedule in full, so I'm making stuff up to amuse myself. So in conclusion, The Kills as an add on the Sunday or Monday (which would mean the Uranus Stage would exist and have some of the smaller/local bands playing it, which would make room for adds on larger stages those days).

I found it curious that a band requested a lower billing this year, really humble move honestly. Can't wait to hear the schedule talk! Are we going to all try and guess who it was? Maybe it won't be as obvious as it sounded on the podcast I'd guess it was Digable Planets. I could see Snacks placing them higher, especially since they are reuniting after a long time off AND they are kicking off their reunion tour at Sasquatch. I figure the band's train of thought might be that they were a great group back in the day (still are!) but maybe they are/were questioning their relevancy now. Especially when surrounded by a 100 other bands, many in their prime.

Have any Canadian boarders received their passes yet? Mine have yet to arrive. I haven't received mine yet.

Understandable. I think I'd sacrifice Alabama Shakes if it meant I got to see all of Mac Demarco and all of Frightened Rabbit as well. Time will tell, I'm guessing we'll have the schedule within the next two weeks. I remember a couple years ago they released it the first day of Coachella. I do not recommend skipping Alabama Shakes for any reason. That will be a guaranteed top 5 show of the weekend, possibly #1. Yeah I should really give them a chance, and stop judging their current potential based on their humdrum performance in 2012.

Starting to get pretty stoked on Autolux Me too. I just listened to the new album today for the first time, definitely on my list of bands to see this year.

The Yeti stage is very small. An act doesn't have to be huge to close it. I really don't want them playing opposite Alabama Shakes. Fucking potential conflicts! Understandable. After hearing their new album, I'm really hoping Frightened Rabbit plays later on at night, ideally closing the Yeti stage.

But that #10 spot could easily be Digable Planets, King Gizzard, Wolf Alice, Oh Wonder or Houndmouth. Frightened Rabbit enters the top 10!

The new Frightened Rabbit album is really beautiful. Super thankful Sasquatch is one of the few American festivals they're playing this year. I listened to the new albums by both Frightened Rabbit and M83 last night. Although I did enjoy many aspects of "Junk", Frightened Rabbit's "Painting of a Panic Attack" is, in my mind, a much more comprehensive piece. Beginning to end it flows beautifully. And it gets better with every listen. This album just moved Frightened Rabbit into my top 10 must see at Sasquatch this year. Love it.

We paid $92 after fees for the nosebleeds. I'm talking top balcony, row U. A friend of mine told me that after the first 15 minutes of presale the only available tickets were $180. This is insane. The Paramount is nice but it ain't that nice. Kraftwerk was $65 and I was front row. In 2010 Sufjan was $30. Last time Sigur Ros were in town (not-Sasquatch) they played at Benaroya fucking Hall and it was $30-$40. Facebook has that stupid "On this Day" feature I keep clicking on and I found a conversation from a few years ago arguing about how $175 was a little steep for Sasquatch. Now it's $350 and neither of those prices include camping, and the lineups are remarkably worse. I don't pretend to know what's happening to the live music industry and general economics mystifies me but this kind of insane price gouging is driving me further and further away from wanting to be a part of the scene in any way. I paid $92.75 (Canadian) after fees and was lucky enough to find 1 seat after it was listed as "sold out". 20th row Center floor. Anybody else here get Vancouver Sigur Ros tickets?

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK IS GOING ON IN THIS ALBUM. I'm listening to it now and I'm 99% sure he is fucking with all of us, or has lost his god damn mind. I am currently on my 3rd listen to "Junk". As of right now I adore the songs "Atlantique suds", "Sunday Night 1987", as well as "For the Kids". I also really dig the monster guitar presence in "Go!". As with most albums, there are a few middle-of-the-road songs, however there are definitely some eyebrow raisers on this album that leave you wondering whether he might be having too much fun at times, in a way that makes M83 seem a bit silly, but not ridiculous, just... Goofy? Maybe? All in all there are some real gems here, coupled by a few wtf's?

I also rampantly speculate Bernie giving a stump speech before their set. Bernie on the Yeti stage Hillary and the super PAC buy off the main stage Trump headlines Watershed

I refuse to believe Grimes will be on the Bigfoot stage. Please no. Not again. I just want to see her once at Sasquatch without sound trouble. Grimes on Sasquatch Stage. Thunderpussy on Bigfoot. please. Sorry, but I don't think there is room for Grimes on the main stage with Florence and Sufjan. She is going to close the Bigfoot. Also, I feel like Thunderpussy is going to be on the Yeti. They were on UrAnus last year and I don't think they've done enough since to justify graduating to the bigger stages. Thunderpussy played Friday 4:00 on the Yeti Stage last year. Grimes>Sufjan>Florence, make it so.
