Just ordered tickets for Imagination Dragons at the Tacoma Dome in July for my daughter's birthday. All things considered, it could be worse and I should be thankful it's not Justin Bieber, but that still doesn't mean I have to be excited about it. It is going to blow her 12 year old mind, though.
Hahaha, I feel your pain brother. I had to bring my son to Seattle to see Bassnectar for his 10th birthday. I'm not a huge fan of knob twisters and button pushers, but like you said, it definitely could have been worst.
1. Sleater-Kinney 2. Kendrick Lamar 3. Modest Mouse 4. St. Vincent 5. Jose Gonzalez 6. Ought 7. Will Butler 8. The War On Drugs 9. Alvvays 10. Run The Jewels ...I've seen RTJ quite recently and yet they still made my list over a few bands that I'm very excited to see. Honestly, their performance/stage presence is that good!
The more I think about it, the more I believe that the removal of the Sasquatch lineup poster & addition of the big "Buy Tickets Now" link in its place, could be nothing more than another poor choice due to pressure from Live Nation. I'm guessing ticket sales aren't happening as fast as they had hoped. I also noticed that under the description of premiere camping it no longer says "larger sites" on it. I've been a premier camper for a few years now and definitely have noticed the sites shrinking a bit each and every year. Squeeze the people in and sqeeze the money out.
I've been having troubles understanding the appeal of Hot Chip... just not my style of music I guess. But the new song they released today, Huarache Lights, has got me thinking I should give them a second chance. Really like it.
The crossover number might be obsolete if one of those artists was booked from Coachella but cancelled.
This is the way my theories are leaning right now. I feel like there's a chance that Florence and her glorious Machine once sat upon the top of the Friday lineup but had to cancel for some reason. But who knows? Nothing in the world makes sense any more.
Of course this is just speculation, but TV On The Radio cancelled a ton of European shows due to illness/injury just before the Sasquatch lineup announcement. Although their current North American tour has not been affected by this (yet) my thoughts were maybe they backed out since the public commitment was not made yet. Doesn't really matter now I guess, but that was my train of thought at the time.
Help a brother out? When I was logged out I could see Pea's magnificent work he did with the site, but when I logged in it went back to the old brown theme? I'm on an iPhone, anyone know how to remedy this?
