Maybe it was a livenation issue earlier this morning. I already have tickets, but I was just trying for the heck of it and it would not let me, but I see it's fixed now.

Something fishy is going on here...the countdown has been pulled off of the website and there is an error when I try to buy tickets... Please don't let all of Sasquatch go the way of Julysquatch

Anybody else get an email from Prince (livenation)? Just wondering if that was sent to everyone who has bought tickets from livenation before or just this year's sasquatch ticket buyers. Sorry, this might be better in (extremely) rampant speculation

A lot of times the band that plays last or late night on the Bigfoot is big enough to play the mainstage during the day, if not bigger. I think they just do it for crowd control reasons when the majority of fans are inside the gates. OMM could definitely play over on the Bigfoot (and I hope they do because new pornos > gogol > S&K would be great). But I think Professor Pancakes schedule prediction is closer to the truth.

I would be stoked on Prince or Sleater Kinney. As has already been said, either blows Of Monsters out of the water as a headliner.

Please let this be true. All would be redeemed.

Don't know if we already discussed this elsewhere, but Sam Smith has his own show at the Gorge (?) on August 8 so we can count him out as being any of that &more

Angel Olsen added to Friday. I'll take that. I have always heard great things about her and her live show.

I tend to agree with macdemarcosteeth abut the overall attitude on this board, particularly toward new members. It seems if you aren't part of the circle of friends then you will have a bad time. I remember trying to participate in a discussion and was railroaded into submission. This board seems like it wants to represent the essence of sasquatch but I find it to be the opposite. I would hate camping next to such a judgmental and condescending group (not all of you, I know). A large part of sasquatch for me is meeting open minded people and making lifetime friendships. I know I'll probably get flamed or nailed to the cross over this but come on guys. What's the point of having an open registration on this forum if you're just planning on attacking every new member? Unless that's part of your entertainment? I'm pretty much a "new member" in that I only have a few posts, even if they were over a span of years, however I don't get offended by this board at all. I've had opinions that the majority didn't like, and I've had others that went over well. It's the internet, you gotta let people say and think what they want without letting it get under your skin. I really like coming here before the lineup drops to get a hint of what to expect.

I've been having troubles understanding the appeal of Hot Chip... just not my style of music I guess. But the new song they released today, Huarache Lights, has got me thinking I should give them a second chance. Really like it. They're definitely more of a singles band than an album band. That new song is really cool, not sure about the video though. I like their albums, but I really like that kind of music so I agree that their singles is where they shine. So many solid hits over the years, should be a dance party. I saw them a couple of years ago and it was one of the best shows I've seen since living in Vegas.

I know everyone has different tastes, but I'm not sure what the beef is with this year's lineup. Robert Plant and Kendrick Lamar are to notch headliners in my book and I still believe "& More" is going to be a game changer. The only thing I see missing this year is that one "I can't believe we got..." electronic artist, like Gessaffelstien or Kraftwerk/Fuck Buttons (RIP Julysquatch hashtag Never Forget) from last year. To compare, the last couple years there have been about 10 or so acts that I was legitimately excited about when the lineup came out followed by a bunch more I discovered between then and the festival. This year, looking down the list, I already count 18 that I'm very excited about and I haven't even started researching the ones I haven't heard yet. I realize it is more expensive overall with camping not being included any more, but I am still excitebike as I've ever been for Sasquatch. This is the perfect explanation for why I like the lineup

2010 was my least favorite Sasquatch lineup. Oops. Ween automatically makes it the best. That was my all-time favorite Sasquatch set. Without question.

HOT CHIP IS FINALLY PLAYING SASQUATCH Yeah, on the most expensive and least impressive lineup in the history of the festival. Don't get me wrong, if I had the extra cash and time I'd be there. But money's tight, and this ain't worth it. Hot Chip is literally the only actual "must-see" for me that I haven't seen before. Most expensive, yes. That's not disputable. But least impressive? I have a hard time agreeing with that. With the exception of a few acts, I don't think 2011 or 2013 were anything super special besides a few acts, and, as I said, last year there were parts of days with literally nothing interesting. Nothing will ever beat 2010 though. That lineup was too good. We were spoiled.

Ya it's true, a lot of these artists have played the festival before, and maybe a real "WOW" headliner is missing besides Robert Plant (though I'm still waiting on the &more), I feel like the dislike/apathy towards the lineup is unwarranted. The under-card and day part of the fest will probably be the best that Sasquatch has had been years, maybe ever. Last year, there were parts days where I was wandering and couldn't find anything good. This year, aside from Friday, I don't see how that would even be possible. Plus, last time Modest Mouse headlined, they were amazing. I think this year's lineup is really solid. I mean, HOT CHIP IS FINALLY PLAYING SASQUATCH

Scrolling through my emails this morning, I received a total of 4 presale notices: LiveNation, Do206, 107.7 The End, and Red Bull Sound Select. The password I posted above is gir the LiveNation on, but if anyone has problems getting through let me know; I have other options. Password worked great! Thank you so much. Looks like I'm making it to Sasquatch for my 7th time!

I know this doesn't need saying as it will probably get posted on here anyway, but whenever people get that presale password, let us other people know
