I'm sorry but Florence and the Machine as the main headliner and Major Lazer as a headliner makes absolutely no fucking sense. Major Lazer closed out a night (underwhelmingly to most I talked to, I was at Gesaffelstein) a couple years ago. I could see Disclosure maybe, but even they don't seem like a bigger name than Flume. I feel like LCD has to be there or Snacks is going to be bummed out by sales. Gesaffelstein was infinitely better than Major Lazer. Walked over for the last couple songs and wished I had watched Gesaffelstein's last song. Also, skipping Deerhunter for ML because my group wanted to is one of my biggest Sasquatch regrets to this day. Diplo and co. literally just stand on their equipment, hit play, and do the same mix every show. But people eat it up I guess.

I know it doesn't seem right, but information has good reason to believe that Florence will be the 1st name on the poster. That just sits so oddly with me... Also, I didn't see Charles Bradley on information's list... We can assume he's confirmed due to launch party status or no? Has an artist who's headlined the launch party ever NOT played at said Sasquatch? I think it's happened. Also, I think Ty Segall performed the party, then Fuzz played squatch, and Atlas Sound played the party, and Deerhunter played squatch.

I know it's like a broken record at this point, but can we just get an LCD confirmation, positive or negative, from info? It's driving me nuts. And would also make this lineup the best if it came to be. But also ease the anxiety if they were confirmed not there.
Also, it's been fun seeing the board reunion go down as a long time lurker, rare poster.

Has anyone updated the overlap count cross-checks? jefftrap 3.33 did: Okay I've counted 17 from Caochella, which was the number Snacks gave Stackz. Snacks told Pea 18 though. So either that's it or we're only getting one more. Bottle Rock's 7: Florence + The Machine Houndmouth X Ambassadors Kaleo Alina Baraz Son Little SOAK Firefly's 13: Florence + The Machine Disclosure M83 A$AP Rocky Major Lazer Vince Staples Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats Saint Motel Oh Wonder Wet Kaleo Son Little Noah Gunderson Plus vince staples for coachella

Just bought my plane ticket. Going to the Saturday show. Gonna be so brown. Man, I HAVE been away a long time. When did noobs start liking Ween? I dont have many posts on here, but I've been to sasquatch 7 of the last 8 years, and Ween's set in 2010 is probably my favorite headliner ever.

I'm spending all the damn money I've got to go see Ween in Colorado next month. But if they play Sasquatch I'll just have to fucking manifest MORE money, because fucking Ween. Just bought my plane ticket. Going to the Saturday show. Gonna be so brown.

information and jefftrap 3.33 have no reason to believe LCD Soundsystem will play Sasquatch, but they also can't confirm LCD Soundsystem will not play Sasquatch. Make sense? Exactly. But information confirmed no animal collective.

If all of Information/Beartrap's leaks are true, this is one of the best undercards ever. Might explain not affording LCD. But I'm holding out hope anyway. Even though vince staples maxes out the coachella overlaps

Did I miss when Alabama Shakes became festival headliner material? I guess so ... Honestly, much more taken aback by the possibility of them headlining, rather than Disclosure, who recently played sold out shows at MSG and Memorial Stadium in LA. I believe Pancakes speculated Alabama Shakes headlining a long time ago. I have noticed their latest album has gotten a lot of attention. Disclosure has gotten huge. I have no doubt they would headline a festival the size of Sasquatch. Edit: I'm glad somebody pointed out that Disclosures latest album wasn't that great though. Sorry, can't remember who, and this thread is growing fast. That was me. I really didn't like it.

You know what, all things considered that's a decent lineup. Throw in another proper sized headliner, (still holding out for Ween), with the middle fleshed out and I'd buy a ticket. Fucking weeeeen.

Also, I count 10 Coachella overlaps. So that's 8 more bands to work with if Information is real. Which means...
Edit: Information liked my post. Possible hint at a certain liquid crystal boombox? Either way, info made tonight interesting.

I love a lot of these acts but I still feel like I need LCD or another good headliner to justify the ticket and camping. I like Disclosure but Caracal was a bummer to me.

Hello everyone, This year the top line of the Sasquatch lineup will contain The Cure, Florence + The Machine, Alabama Shakes, Disclosure, and A$AP Rocky. I know it may be hard to trust but it is true. Ugg. If true, kills my excitement. Can't justify going and paying for a pass and camping just for the cure. Need LCD.

I'm not generally one for the comedy tent, other than for a brief cool down period if it's hot, but I would love to see Trailer Park Boys at Sasquatch! They did a set in... 2011 I think? Anyways, it was fucking awful. Ya, I didn't see them that year but I heard bad things. I saw them in Las Vegas last year and it was also terrible. Some of the jokes and aspects of the show were funny, but the crowd was like I was actually in a trailer park. And ya, I agree with the overall sentiment that the comedy shows at Sasquatch tend to be a wreck. Hannibal was hilarious, and in 2008 I saw Tim Meadows do a Q&A as the Lady's Man and it was funny.

Guys, something about the early announcement and the lack of substantial lineup clues has me really anxious/excited. By this point (5 days from announcement), we usually have a solid chunk of the lineup guessed. While there are some clues slowly trickling in, a lot of the lineup is going to be a surprise. Give me LCD Soundsystem, or give me death! (or Prince or Bjork)

The Thermals announced a new record today. They're always a possibility, being from PDX. Their yeti stage set a few years back was awesome. This is great news! I love everything about The Thermals and would like to see them play this year. Would they graduate to the Bigfoot this year? I'd like to see that happen, but they'd kill on any stage. Their set a few years ago was one of my all time top yeti moments in my 7 squatches.
