In a bit of good news for the survival of our beloved fest...according to instagram, seems that the Harvard business school thing Stacks was attending was just a one week program (which he completed successfully). He got a degree from Harvard in just one week? I'm guessing it was more of a certification rather than a degree

You pretty much nailed it. People say this every year and we always say that it’s too early to make that call. Yes, it’s possible that there won’t be a Sasquatch next year but that decision definitely hasn’t been made yet. My take is that if this is the first year they’re doing 100% Zacks bookings and they saw an uptick in ticket sales, there’s no way they’ll give it up after 1 year of trying a new strategy. If I was LiveNation leadership, I would see it as an upward trend and plan for 2019 to follow that trend. It takes time to regain a fan base - you can’t completely revert your demographic in a single year I did see somewhere that Stacks was starting Harvard business school...so maybe he's moving on? Though business school doesn't take very long.

I also had a borderline nightmare. Got there, they handed out the schedules, a number of acts I wanted to see got cancelled and each set was filled with Greta Van Fleet instead.

Sleeping was difficult. Very Christmas eve-like vibes. Sasquatch is better than Christmas. At this point in my life, I totally agree

I know there was some back and forth regarding sponsors, the App lists them as Elysian Brewing, Smirnoff, Red Bull Soundselect, Xbox, and Blu.

Today is the pinnacle of unproductivity. I'm thinking about what I need to get ready after work tonight, am thinking about if my team the Rockets will lose tonight or not, am waiting to see Deadpool even later tonight, and am sending e-mails giving a warning that come tomorrow I will not be responding to school or work content until Monday. Every year the day leading up to the trip becomes longer and longer. Turning on your automatic out-of-office replies is one of the best feelings right before a looooong weekend! I already drafted mine and scheduled it to turn on tomorrow afternoon. Can't wait!

The forecast is looking like it might be a hot one; hottest forecast I've seen since the last Sasquatch where I saw a bunch of these bands (09). My wife and I were just talking about how hot 09 was this morning. That heat was brutal! Some of those afternoon sets were rough, I remember Grizzly Bear was so hot and I was so hungover. The warm nights are fun though.

Anderson Paak just dropped an insanely awesome song. This guy will be a festival headliner within the next year or two. Sooooo good.

Eh, I find them to be pretty solid. Everyone I came across seemed to like Spirits. In other news, I wish Beach House was on this damn lineup. As far as new albums go, I wasn't sure what was going to poop the new Twin Shadow out of constant rotation, but Beach House did the trick. This thing has been on repeat for the past 48 hours. That would make this lineup perfection. 7 is so good. Can't wait to see them in August.

From here on the only depressing talk should be around the new Arctic Monkey's album, thank you have a good day. Beach House's new album is phenomenal! (Sorry for the heart attacks, love you all) This is true. Beach House is one of the most consistent great bands.

I'm not sure where I saw it (I think twitter) but I'm pretty sure he IS playing with his full band at Sasquatch. (What the band is comprised of, idk)

While I generally think Japandroids albums are awesome, I didn't think they were very good last time I saw them at sasquatch. I've only heard very positive things about PUP live.
