That's the only Darude song I know! He has more? Lol. Sadly, my electronic/techno/trance knowledge is very limited...
Friendly: Nah. To be honest, that artwork was a bit rushed. I literally finished the music portion of this mix just hours before sending it in. I really only had that one Friday available to make it to the Post Office, so I quickly googled "funny workout pictures" and the rest was magic.

That main dude totally resembles Jake Snider! Maybe thats why I'm trying to like Biffy so bad. Lol. Highly Refined Pirates is MTB's best album IMO. Also (fun fact) this is the album where the title to every song is named after a quote from the movie "Starship Troopers"

Nice guess! Did the LMFAO give it away? Haha..
I'm just glad to see my mix was successfully received internationally... And also received with better reception then I had anticipated.
Wolf, you are being too nice about that Rednex track! It really is a laughably bad song... But I just couldn't resist putting it on there. It just fits the humor of the theme too well. It kind of reminded me of Silvertips games and the cheesiness of the old Jock Jams compilations. Also, very awesome to know that I'm not the only one familiar with the Chili's 80's stuff around here! They are probably my second favorite band!
Anyways, I'm glad you enjoyed the mix. After seeing what others have sent I'm already looking forward to a more obscure submission for round 2.

Well I guess I won't even bother checking it out. It's not as bad as Switch is making it out to be. It's just not as good as Menos El Oso or Highly Refined Pirates. The little more produced sound just takes some getting used to and they were also going for a more 80's pop sound with this record. In a nutshell, they were trying to be more accessable. I could go on and on... Regardless, they are already working on new tunes! So go see them! P.S. ALL the songs (bar the last) are better than "My Time"! Check out "Into The Mirror","Excuses" and "Dayglow Vista Rd."

Meet the Feebles is the shit. All of Peter Jackson's older, weirder movies are really fantastic I just saw The Frighteners for the first time the other night. It has that late 80's-90's charm. Love it! I was unaware that PJ had yet another Pre-LOTR movie.... Will have to netflix the Feebles right away!

It's kind of a weird venue choice if you ask me...IMO The paramount theatre would seem like more of an equivalant to the portland gig... Easy choice on which show to go to though.

Upon reading the cover art I could see why it would listed as Puscifer... Which I agree is basically just Maynard... However, on i-tunes, they have it listed as Steven Drozd & Maynard J Keenan under 'The Heart Is A Drum Machine' Soundtrack.

I don't even see the ShoWare Center as a listed Venue on that app...Wtf? Weird.
EDIT: From The ShoWare Center site:
A Perfect Circle A Perfect Circle
All ages.
"Thursday, June 30, 2011 @ 8:00PM
Prices*: GA Floor ** - $45.00 Reserved Seat - $38.50 8 ticket limit per person.
No cameras, no recording devices. * Prices do not include $2.00 facility fee per ticket. ** The Floor is a standing GA area, no seats or seating assignments. Limited capacity."
Yeah... I don't think they even do business with Ticketbastard...
Don't blame the band, Switchy. Blame Ticketbastard for their service fees!

Speaking of SOAD, anyone else going to the seattle show? Oh yes. I opted for lower level seats next to the stage. Came to $120 for two.

16. RocketMan- Puscifer- One of my favorite covers of all time. Fuck I love this version. I love the huge booming chords during the chorus <3. I'm having fun reading all these tracklistings! I'm also surprised by how much I knew on this mix. That cover was actually done by Maynard and the guitarist of The Flaming Lips, by the way:) Here's hoping that I get my mix this week!

I was going to buy a ticket for A Perfect Circle in Portland but when I went to check the price I found out they are close to $70 per ticket! . Where are you getting this price? Tickets aren't on sale until Friday... and Aperfectcircle.com only lists the dates and times....

Slammin' Salmon was surprisingly pretty funny! I thought Michael Clark Duncan did well in a comedy role. Beerfest is great too... Word is Super Troopers 2 is their next project.
As for "Where the wild things are"... There are a few artistic things I appreciate about it, but I agree with the guy saying that the story was rather boring

I think my IQ just dropped a little by watching "Where The Wild Things Are"... And by the way, how bratty was that little kid in that movie?!

I'm on the fence about it... Certain things will factor into my decision to buy or not... Like: 1) Is it backwards compatible? 2)what launch games are available? and 3) Can you download wii virtual console games to it? If not, what is the online store feature like?
I will probably head to Best Buy in a bit to check out a display version.
Did you get one?
