I listened to "Colours", is there another one I should try? I'm all for el garbagio fun radio songs, don't get me wrong. Isn't that the band that remade "Float On" by Modest Mouse?

Yikes...yeah, different strokes for different folks I guess! I personally agree with approx. 30% of it though. There is definitely some stuff missing here.

You don't like Goin Against Your Mind? cbats seriously I do NOT get you. Love this album, not sure why it's received so much hate.

Nonsense like ordering a double garden burger with extra bacon, or ordering a scoop of ice cream with sprinkles because you are lactose intolerant, or watching soft core porn because you like Chromeo, or drinking Mountain Dew because you have a sleeping disorder, or hunting because you hate your neighbor's pet, or playing music at an occupy movement because you are a rich, or being a lifeguard because you can't swim, or being Puff Daddy trying to imitate the lead singer of the Police, or Coldplay imitating Radiohead, or the Coachella board pretending to be intelligent, or chad liking jazz. Random regardless, like know ID uh unsuccessfully trying to replicate a FD post. That's weird. When we were kids my brother use to kick up such a fuss that he could only drink Mountain Dew (in Canada it has no caffeine) because he couldn't get to sleep if he drank Coke. It drove me up the wall because he would moan like he was afflicted with some type of terrible illness and some how always get my parents to buy him Mountain Dews like it was medicine or something. NO CAFFEINE IN MOUNTAIN DEW, there's more fuel for your Canadian tirades! Yeah, but why drink any soda before bed? Regardless of caffeine, it's loaded with sugar... And we all know what that does to children...

...I was wondering if anyone besides myself was a little disappointed with Iron & Wine... I appreciate the concept... But I was hoping for something more acoustic. Especially with the older songs.

Probably in no particular order. The five best sets I saw included: Black Mountain! Holy shit. By far the best set I saw on Monday. I smoked out a seventeen year old kid; me and Friendly D and Stormy and Souly rocked our faces off. Dude I will never miss another opportunity to see Black Mountain AaaaaaAAAhh!!! My single greatest regret of not attending Monday! I'm glad to hear they were good though! Love this band!

Drunken Foos: Dunno how I managed to make a 7 with the camera though. At this point in the evening I'm amazed I could find the shutter button. Ahaha, that's what most of my pictures of this set looked like too...it was hard to keep still in the rowdy crowd. Being drunk off half a bottle of Jack from the campround didn't help either!

I ended up (as far as I know) meeting none of you:( I was only there Friday and Saturday and missed the ByClyFri due to the ridiculously long wait to get into the campground. Seriously people, how hard is it to park your car next to the person in front of you? Anyways the girlfriend amd I ended up with the perfect neighbors who perfectly represented what you guys have to say about sasquatch goers. Trevor (or travis?) and Kristi from Portland, if you are out there, it was very nice meeting you!

I couldn't agree more with Trailer Park Boys being a little disappointing. Couldn't really hear shit and the amount of people walking in and out of the shack in front of us was a major distraction. We ended up leaving after about 10 minutes.
I'm mostly a little bummed that we left Local Natives during "Wide Eyes" for that, but on the bright side we got to see J Mascis. That guy was awesome! Even with the technical difficulties.

Yeah... I pretty much figured everybody would be calling me Hanch... But I'm down with whatever.
I guess we could always use the "Boarders revealed!" thread as a reference on who's who then...
Btw, thanks for the info Stormy:)

You better fuckin' look like Benjamin Linus though. That would take a lot of work! I dunno, recently, people have been saying that I look like Brutus from Popeye. I know the answer is in this thread somewhere, but is the meetup on Friday? Are we all going to wear name tags with our usernames?

This past month and a half has been pretty crazy. Mainly due to a death in the family... But now I'm back... Kinda.... I'm in Arizona visiting the other side of family and caring for my recovering mom... But I shall return to my beloved state of WA on Thursday just in time for Sasquatch. Can't wait!

Am I too late to the meetup party? Atleast for a beer or two anyhow?

SOAD were pretty amazing! Very high energy band, plus the guitarist was a complete nut job. All in all, probably one of the more entertaining arena shows I've seen. Generally the sound is pretty shitty at key arena too... but that was not the case here...i dunno, depends on the seating maybe?
On the other hand, I'm not quite sure what to think of the the metal mariachi I witnessed with Gorgol Bordello... Definitely one of the weirdest bands out there.

Just throwing this out there... if anybody is interested in purchasing tickets to The Big 4 (Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax) I will sell you my pair for $100 because of short notice. Thats 2 for the price of 1. Due to a recent family matter, I won't be able to make it. Thanks in Advance.

So... Who got their APC tickets? That showare site sucks! I kept getting sent to a "waiting room" due to high demand, but I finally scored a pair after about a half hour.
