www.bombfest.com/2011-lineupBest Coast, Wavves, and Against Me! are all playing. wondering if there will be any other crossover. HEALTH, Portugal. The Man and Titus Andronicus on Friday, that would be sweet. The Hood Internet in the dance tent would also be sweet.

Ok its definitely not the Korean band lolol. Any Typhoon songs to reccomend? Starting Over and Mouth/Belly of the Cave were my favorites from Hunger and Thirst. Check those out, and better yet, give the whole album a run through if you can.

I'll be wearing my Adidas Sambas for the 2nd year in a row. Seriously the best and longest lasting pair of shoes I've ever owned. so true. my first pair lasted me around 2.5 years, and I'd still wear them in the summer. they saw me though the festival well last year. this year I'd consider something more durable like my pair of dr. martens, but the sambas are always a good choice

I can get behind pretty much everything in the original post. I think the lineup is by no means bad and there are lots of bands I' m excited for. But that having been said, being the 10th anniversary and the hype surrounding it I expected bigger headliners/more diversity from groups that have run the Sasquatch gauntlet, or at least some other big announcements. I wasn't expecting Radiohead, but Daft Punk / The Black Keys would have been a nice selling point. Still 2 months out though, so we'll wait and see. Still holding out a little hope for Queens of the Stone Age, Melvins, Fang Island, Lightning Bolt, HEALTH, or other good bands to be added, primarily to Friday.

best thing I can say about Bright Eyes is that I'm glad I won't feel bad for missing anything cool on the mainstage during Iron & Wine

I thought LA was a more accessible album than his newest, but in any sense I like the vibe of his music. Almost like a mix of Thievery Corp and Madlib.

gotta love Portugal. All of their stuff is great but Church Mouth has to be my favorite and the first album of theirs I picked up. Gotta love the bluesy, southern rock feel. It's excellent from start to finish. I just wish they'd play more songs from it when they preform live. The two times I've seen them the only song off it the play is My Mind.

surprised at myself that I'd never listened to Rival Schools considering where they all came from. Pretty excited about them on Friday now.

Fang Island, Lightning Bolt, and HEALTH would all be great adds for Friday, and they all look to be available.
also, just listened to Biffy Clyro for the first time and all I can say is meh. might be the most generic thing I've heard in a long time.

I see where you're coming from, and definitely agree. However, I appreciate them at least TRYING to compensate. By the way, I still can't remember what fucking movie that quote is from. tis true, though there are obviously a ton of great bands just begging to be added to Friday who have open schedules and are probably within the budget of Sasquatch.

Atmosphere would be dope, but they have dates in Portland and BC on the 9th and 10th of May, and the tour ends on the 17 in Denver. Take that as you will.
