I dig these guys. They were introduced to me through a friend with whom I, along with some other students from my college, book a small outdoor music fest in April on campus. Last year we had Portugal. The Man, The Dodos, Japandroids, and Typhoon. He had brought up the thought of getting Das Racist, so I checked them out and liked what I heard. Now they'll be playing in Salem on April 23rd.
Rainbow in the Dark is probably my favorite, but I also enjoy Who's That? Broooown!, You Oughta Know, Shorty Said, Ek Shakeesh, haha jk, all tan everything, and Fake Patois.

Does anyone think that any more headliners/sub headliners be added? The name's just seem so much smaller than the headliners in years past. It just seems incomplete to me.

I had high hopes with some of the initial lineup announcements last night, but I didn't know that they would be (supposedly) the final bill. Pretty much no interest in any of the headliners or subheadliners. Looking at the list, the bands I want to see the most are Minus the Bear, Portugal. The Man, The New Pornographers, The Temper Trap, Passion Pit, Kid Cudi, and City & Color. Vampire Weekend, MMJ, and Pavement all being pretty boring in my opinion. Not a lot of interest in seeing Massive Attack, LCD Soundsystem, Ween, She & Him, Tegan & Sara, The National, The Hold Steady, or Band of Horses.
Overall I'm pretty disappointed, especially considering the rumors for Soundgarden, Pixies, RATM, and the fact that the lineup last year was in comparison, very strong. Bought the presale tickets but also got the insurance so I'll likely get a refund, that is, unless anyone wants to buy them.
