I got a rad new pair of Dr. Marten's the first week of April... Here we are six months later, and I'm on the bus looking at them and thinking how cool they are and how nice it is to have finally broken them in and aren't they taking on excellent character and then I see a fucking split in the sole of the left boot that goes all the way through to the leather. Then I notice the same fucking thing has happened to the right boot as well.
I spent $150 fucking dollars on Docs so that I wouldn't have to buy another pair of shoes for five years or something, because that is why you buy Docs and everyone fucking knows it. I called up the store I got them from and told them about it, and they say that perhaps maybe probably they'll replace them. It's a damn good thing they said that, but they had fucking better actually do it because I am prepared to roll up on the place and raise the biggest goddamn stink they have ever witnessed if they don't. You fuckers know I can do it, too.

I ordered the fancy limited edition 2xLP of The Books' Music for a French Elevator a couple weeks ago, and when it arrived and put it on, the entire second side skipped persistently to the point that it was unlistenable. Pretty lame, but I emailed Temporary Residence and told them about it -- they asked me to ship the LP back so that the manufacturer can inspect it and determine if it's just a damaged copy or if it's a problem with the pressing. Pain in my ass, but once I do that they'll send a replacement and also the nice woman at Temporary Residence said that I can pick another LP of equal value from their catalog and they'll send it to me for free.
Free LP. That's the awesome part.

Adding Darkside - Psychic.
It took me half a dozen listens, which surprised me considering how into Space is Only Noise[ I am. Which is a lot. It's hella different, but it's pretty fucking great.
