Been awhile since I've been on here!! Nice to see it's still active.
Is anyone else heading to Spokane for Slayer with Primus and Ministry? Just got presale tickets! Super stoked

2010 was my favourite year as well! Thus was probably number 3 for me though after 2008.
I had a very different experience than years past with a larger focus on relaxing and seeing the bands I REALLY wanted to see, as opposed to years passed where I jam packed my schedule with as much as possible. Might be the fact that I'm getting old, or that I spent 8 fucking days at Disneyland for a family vacation right before Sasquatch!
This year I chilled at Wildhorse...went to the venue for a few shows and then went to chill some more and eat some food...then went back for the evening.
My biggest miss this year was Explosions in the Sky. I just couldn't make it through Modest Mouse, and there was not much left to watch so I headed home for a good night's rest.
Overall it was a great experience and one day I hope to make it back.

I am glad the weather cleared. Checked yesterday and it had rain in the forecast. I’m currently in California and it has been overcast and cool ALL WEEK. I need some hot temps now.

I have crossed the border many times and 5 times for Sasquatch. I have never once had an issue and have never been hassled. Like Previously mentioned, be courteous, answer the questions and don't talk too much.
When I went through customs en route to Lollapalooza the customs officer asked me what we were doing in Chicago and I started in on a long rant of the band's were seeing and the food and drinks we would be having. The guy thought I was a lunatic and my wife was ready to kill me.
Just answer the questions directly.

I feel like the Japandroids/PUP conflict could have been avoided...I'm surprised they have them overlapping. It is a terrible conflict butbi think I've made the decision to proceed with Pup, since I have yet to see them. It hurts though

And check out Son Little and Wolf Parade Son Little is a hard sell because I'm already gonna be late to Julien Baker because of Rosensquatch. Wolf Parade is legit, just wondering if there's anyone on at the same time who might be worth checking out too. Julian Baker is on at a tough time. When it comes down to the wire I may watch her and skip Son Little. That will be mood dependent. Either one will be a good way to catch ones breath after the high energy show that Rosenquatch will be putting on.

Y'all front row people are crazy. I'm so glad I prefer to be back from the stages a bit. The idea of skipping an important set to get as colose as possible for another set just seems ridiculous to me. I was thinking the exact same thing. I tend to hang out near the sound booth. I'm pretty short so I find that is the best vantage point for sound and visual. Above all I'm not missing much and pushing my way through the crowds.

Fill my gaps, fam. (Might as well put me as attending for Perfume Genius, since I really want to get up into it for Slowdive. I'm also probably ditching Tash early to get in line for Byrne.) Needs Big Thief And check out Son Little and Wolf Parade

I feel like I have completely missed the boat on Tash Sultana. I had never even heard of her before her name appeared on the lineup and I just cannot find a way to enjoy her music. I've listened to some tunes, watched some video footage (including Coachella) and I just don't get the vibe. Must just be me.
One of the best things I realized about my schedule is that I am pretty much parked in front of the Yeti all day on Sunday (PHOEBE BRIDGERS / ALEX LAHEY / CHARLY BLISS / JAPANESE BREAKFAST / BIG THIEF / TYPHOON). It'll make up for the constant running around on Saturday.
