I'd suggest starting with these 3 from your who list. Really surprised how few people here have listened to Phoebe Bridgers. No idea how it's going to be live but her last album is incredible. Pheobe bridgers is amazing live... seen her twice, once with full band and once acoustic, definitely worth seeing... her music is pretty depressing though... Pheobe is one of my must see artists, but I'm nervous/curious to see how she translates in a festival setting. Same with Julian Baker. Both released amazing albums last year. Has anyone seen either of these two at a festival before?

Thanks for doing this.
I'm really excited to see these guys. I spent a lot if time listening to Apologies to the Queen Mary and At Mount Zoomer when they first came out, but never got around to seeing them live.
I shall have to listen to their last album.
A definite must see on my list.

Since we're talking potential adds, I would love to see Belly (the Tanya Donnelly band, not the rapper), The Breeders or Third Eye Blind added. Doubt that any of those would be though, and I don't want to deal any further potential conflicts anyways. I wouldn't hold my breath. This lineup is already Dadsquatch enough. I imagine any more adds would be something to try to appeal to the kids. Just my guess, though. Haha. You could not be more right. I am not holding my breath. That new Breeders is just so damn good.

Just speaking from my experience going with my dad who always wants to see the late night but in the past 5 years hasn't made it once I can understand this. Not sure how old your dad is but I'm 41 and barely make the late night sets. Usually in back at camp resting up and drinking beer.

I'm wondering if Tyler will be the late night performer on the Bigfoot? Tyler into Bon Iver seems strange to me. This would still allow David Byrne to sub the mainstage.

Looks like Tyler, The Creator will NOT be playing on the Sunday as we initially thought. He's playing some hip hop festival in Minnesota on the Sunday.

Lol... Faded... it was the promoters weekly dubstep night in Vancouver maybe 6 years ago? Now the name only refers to the festival. Thanks. I don't know if I ever would have figured that out. Kids today!

I think I recognize, maybe 4, of the names on that poster. What I can't figure out though is how you pronounce the name of the festival.

Just discovered these guys. I'm digging it. Well this is a much more enjoyable and pleasant song than the one on the Sasquatch website...

The Sasquatch lineup has turned me onto so many great releases from 2017 that I wasn't aware of. It's a good distraction from how mediocre 2018 has been so far. I will agree with this. Alex Lahey and Charly Bliss definitely would have made my Top 20 if I heard them last year. Having said that, please add: Superchunk - What a Time to Be Alive Car Seat Headrest - Twin Fantasy Fu Manchu - Clone of the Universe Coffin Torture - Dismal Planet Thanks kindly!

If you or someone you know hasn't passed out face down in the grass in D9, can you really say you've been to Sasquatch? Yes

I am very excited to watch White Reaper while drinking afternoon beers in the sun at The Gorge! Finally found my way to these guys today. It really bothers me that had they not been on the Sasquatch lineup I probably would have never discovered their latest album. Boy is it a lot of fun. Absolutely adding them to my afternoon beer frenzy schedule. Same boat. For some reason their name popped out at me the first time I went through the lineup, and I thought maybe I knew who they were, but nope. Glad I looked them up AND that you enjoyed them.

One of my favourite Sasquatch memories was when Japandroids played the Yeti (Maybe in 2010?) and some guy was rocking out so hard that his pants fell down...and he didn't give a fuck. Just kept on rocking. That's a testament to how good this band is! Japandroids rock so hard that we should have a boardie meetup during and all drop trou at the same time. I'm down!

I'll never forget the first time they played Sasquatch. Their gear was either lost or stolen in transport and they arrived at the Gorge pretty bummed and not really sure if their set was going to happen. They managed to borrow somebody else's equipment and took the stage to a surprisingly large crowd for the Yeti. To this day I think it was probably in the top 5 biggest daytime Yeti crowds I've ever seen, and Japandroids was absolutely blown away by the size and enthusiasm of the fans. I had seen them only a year earlier (2009) at Capitol Hill Block Party where they played to about 15 people, so they were definitely still at the point where they were surprised to see a big turnout for their set. You could see their bad moods melt right off them and they ended up putting on one of the best sets of the weekend. It was Dr. Dogs equipment. I remember the strange orange tape on everything.
