Hey ya lovely canadians... this will be my first time heading to Sas through the border (with a canadian and me US). Getting food & bevs once we cross, won't have anything concerning in the car. Any pro tips outside of this? How are your experiences with a car full of crap saying you're headed to Sasquatch? Do they even care? Am I gonna have to do butt stuff?

The only time my wife ever had trouble was when she was coming back from Sasquatch in her old VW hippie bus. She was going to get profiled in that thing regardless of who was driving it, but upon pulling her aside for secondary inspection they obviously didn't find anything, so she was good to go. So far my experiences have been fine with crossing the borders for festivals, and I pretty much exclusively use the same crossing you will be. Even with the poor Canadian dollar there will still be hundreds of cars crossing for the same reason you are, so you certainly won't be the only one! I think the border agents are all very familiar with people coming down for shows at the Gorge, so just be friendly and excited and they won't give you any issues. I've also definitely found that crossing with a significant other helps with my anxiety for these situations.

Don't bring your Australian cousin who also has Canadian citizenship because it will confuse them and you will for sure get searched. Only time I've ever had problems!

The last time I was searched at the border I was 18 years old and driving a $400 car to Coachella on temporary insurance. Act and look like an adult, drive a reliable vehicle, and you'll be just fine.

I have crossed the border many times and 5 times for Sasquatch. I have never once had an issue and have never been hassled. Like Previously mentioned, be courteous, answer the questions and don't talk too much.
When I went through customs en route to Lollapalooza the customs officer asked me what we were doing in Chicago and I started in on a long rant of the band's were seeing and the food and drinks we would be having. The guy thought I was a lunatic and my wife was ready to kill me.
Just answer the questions directly.

Also don't bring an American back into Canada that is immediately getting on a plane in Vancouver and flying to Spain. This also confuses them and will get your car searched. They will also almost for sure ask you how you know each other, so have an answer in your mind so you don't blurt out "the internet".
