What kind of speakers/sound system do you have? How do you listen to music? At home/on headphones/in the car? I recently downgraded to a simple logitech setup which is a necessary but temporary evil. I'm in the process of deciding what kind of system to buy next - hopefully one that will last 20+ years without dying or becoming irrelevant. Suggestions? I also just ordered this little guy ( www.amazon.com/Soundmatters-foxLv2-Bluetooth-Pocket-sized-Loudspeaker/dp/B00313JD06/ref=lh_ni_t_ ), which I'm very excited about. Portable quality audio. Just interested in hearing what you guys use.

I also use Logitech. They get the job done and the bass even on it's lowest setting is enough to make the neighbors complain.
I rock a pair of $40 Sennheisers; everytime I see them Bose sound-canceling ear fuckers I do the Wayne's World thing: "It will be mine. Oh yes. It will be mine."

For in my room (to hook up my ipod, record player and sometimes computer to) I have a Samsung soundbar, with a big subwoofer. I got it open box on boxing day for $250.. It's virtual surround sound for a TV, but it makes my music sound so pretty, and LOUD. www.samsung.com/us/video/home-theater/HW-C450/XAA?For at work I have some lovely skull candy earbuds, and my car has a stock stereo, which is just a radio. I use a fm transmitter to play my music in my car. For obvious reasons, my room is my favourite place to listen to music.

I sometimes listen to music through an old Crosley record player I have. But mostly I'll either listen to them directly through my computer speakers or wirelessly stream music to my yamaha receiver and hear them through a pair of Klipsch WF-34 floor standing speakers I bought a couple years ago... www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/wf-34-overview/

I have an old Panasonic turntable that gets pretty good sound, but the autoreturn for the stylus is busted. It is also a placeholder for something much nicer. When I grow up.

Drew- That little thing looks so cool!
Stamper- I really like those speakers. Also, I have a Crosley record player too, but the built in speakers are just awful, that's why I bought the sound bar. I got the player for Christmas, and it's not the one I would have bought, but it sounds good if you attach speakers.

I've had my eye on one of those soundbars for a while, too, but mostly for simple tv surround sound. I want some nice floor speakers for my music, though the logitechs are pretty good for right now.

Panasonic SA-PT480 This sucker was my christmas gift from my girlfriend this year. It has an ipod dock, so when I listen at home this does the trick. It's an entry level surround system, but it has suited our needs and actually sounds really nice. I currently rock over the ear skull candy's but I very desperately want the Bose headphones HG was mentioning. I was actually going to buy them next weekend, but instead I'm getting my first tattoo!

For the most part I listen to music in my car through my shitty car speakers...then move to my iPod for the train ride. But at home I have a fairly decent Blu-Ray surround system and an iPod docking station in my room. But my favorite thing right now is that I finally got a record player!!! Just picked it up a couple of weeks ago and I LOVE IT!!!
