Sorry to re-hash an old thread, but I feel I needed to do my tat more justice than it's current pathetic state. I found an old pic from right after I got it touched up and before it peeled off like a banana. I'm hoping to restore it to this quality again soon!

I'm geting my first tattoo next weekend. I have had it in mind for more than 10 years. souly asked what I was getting so here it is:

"life feeds on" script in black and red. It's a 6" diameter circle between my shoulder blades.

Eventually one of these will go in the centre (in some variation)

I know a bit of TooL! I'm doing one album at a time, all I have right now is 10 000 days. I always thought it was some kind of metal, so I avoided it. I was very very wrong.

That's awesome. I hope your inking goes well!

Their sound has gotten less harsh over the years. 10,000 days is probably not as accessible as Lateralus, but both of those are pretty different from their first 2 full length efforts. This track is from Undertow which was their first LP. Undertow transitions to Ænima fairly fluidly. Those two albums along with their EP Opiate were when I was really in to them. I still have loved everything they've put out though, and think 10,000 days might be their best record.

I lied, Ænima is their best record.

Yeah I have a friend who is a pretty big tool fan, and she flip flopped between 10 000 days and Ænima for me to get first. 10 000 days won for her, but Ænima is next! I still have a lot of music to get through before I can download second albums though.. I have a method!

On my mac it's option + shift + '

for a PC it's Alt 9 1 3 = æ. I think you need shift as well to make it capitalized.
