Here's the thing about cameras sometimes they say no digital other times just no professional cameras. What I do so that I don't have to worry about it is put it at the bottom of my bag, they usually don't search the whole thing. If you are with a girl put it in her bag and have her put some tampons on top they won't bother it then. Also, if worse comes to worse get out of line and get in a different persons line some are hardcore about checking and others not so much. Your camera, looks to be somewhere in between a compact and a DSLR so try hiding it. There area a lot worse things for them to worry about than cameras so I wouldn't worry too much about getting it in.

This is how it was last year and it worked out great. In 2006 it got way to crowded in the Plaza to a point you couldn't get close enough to hear the band.

CCoult, I was dissapointed with Robotique Majestique as well. It seems too 80s or at the very least not enough variation between the songs. I don't know, it just didn't do it for me. Although, there are some tracks towards the end that I like as well if not more than their earlier work. Maybe they should have two years between albums instead of one so that they can get more tracks to choose from.

The spreadsheet is great! As for the end times, usually they give a half hour for set up so if subtract a half hour from the beginning of the next band it should give you a pretty good idea of how long the set will be....... This is going to a year of tough decisions as to who to see!!!

Would a fan of live music who attended a Death Cab show with a neutral opinion of the band think the show was great? I think this band is the biggest hit or miss I have read about. "they are great" or "they suck" is about 50/50. I like the band, but found them very boring live at Sasquatch 06. Then again, maybe they are as good as those who say they are when playing in a small(er) venue. I wouldn't know though, for a NW band, they sure don't like playing in Portland. Until recently I would have told you yes, a person who likes live music and is neutral towards them would like DCFC, but I have spent a lot of time on multiple message boards and it seems that there are a lot of people who hate Death Cab for Cutie or think they are boring or they suck or whatever, every time I read a bad review I am shocked and actually kind of hurt because of how much I like them. These people must be hearing and seeing something that I am not. Now, I could see where someone who is big into arena rock might think they were boring or if someone is not into that type of music not liking them, but in my (bias) opinion they are a great live band. I have been following them since their first tour in 1998 and they have always put on solid shows wherever they play. For instance their show at Sasquatch! in 06' was one of my favorites...... I think what has happened is most people have only heard say three or four songs of Death Cab: the Sound of Settling, I Will Follow You Into the Dark, Soul Meets Body and maybe one or two others. In my opinion Plans is their weakest album because it is the most safe, probably a need for them transitioning from a small to a big label. I hope the new album will stop some of the naysayers, I guess time will tell. People need to check out their earlier albums to see where they came from to really appreciate them and not write them off as another wussy emo/pop band or whatever they are saying. Remember they had four solid albums before transitioning to a big label, but they were offered contracts way back only an album or two in and rejected it until the time was right meaning they proved themselves and had more control over their music..........

The presale allows at least an extra day to pick up the $154 tickets and (though I don't think this will happen) will ensure that you get tickets if it sells out right away.

1077theend (a local radio station) is having a presale next week, I think the camping may be part of the presale, but don't quote me on it. You need to be an endmailer however. got to 1077theend.com to find out how to do that........

That's a good point. I have actually never purchased tickets for more than they were paid for. Usually if I buy tickets from ebay or craigslist it someone who cannot go and are selling them for face value or less.

I'm not usually one to complain, but I have a real bone to pick with all of these scalpers!!! My wife tried to get tickets using two different presales right before 10am and refreshed until they went onsale this morning for Radiohead tickets, just two tickets mind you. No luck. However, if you go and look on ebay there are already at least a dozen people selling them for $200 to $400 apiece only a half hour after the presale and that doesn't account for people selling on craigslist, stubhub and all of the other ticket sellers out there who are raping concert goers. It makes me sick! The tickets are not even officially onsale yet. I know these guys are just trying to make a buck, but I hate that they jam up the system so that regular people cannot get tickets to concerts. The concert should be called: Radiohead for Bill Gates and Friends......
Ok, I just needed to get that off my chest....... And on Saturday morning when the tickets actually go on sale I will try again, then it will be off to the scalpers and see if I can get the tickets somewhat close to the actual price........
