i'm pretty sure DCFC and MM will play the same night (saturday) based on the billing. Last year the headliners were listed in order thus pavement was listed 3rd because they co headlined the second night....it would make sense for them to play together also

OMG LINEUP ON SUNDAY AHHHHH I HOPE ITS AWESOME Soo...don't murder me for this dumb, dumb question, but I just want to clarify: I've seen people saying the line-up is going to be announced on two different days. I thought it was going to be announced on Sunday at the launch party...but I've seen on a few sites that the line up is coming out on the 7th. The 7th is a Monday. WTF? The website will have the lineup on monday butttt they're going to announce it on sunday night which will almost certainly result in the Sasquatch website (ironically) being one of, if not the last place on the interweb to post said lineup

The thing about Paul Simon is that Hangout Fest is trying to create an identity for themselves. you think we could trade them for foo fighters?

Paul Simon seems like a legit possibility based on his hangout fest date (may 20-22, black keys, flaming lips, cee lo green, bassnectar and a lot of other amazing bands I'd love to have at sasquatch are on the bill as well) , the only problem is foo fighters are also playing which would mean sharing 2 headliners. I've been musing in the back of my mind for the last three months how my dream sasquatch would have Simon headline one night so anything that makes it remotely possible makes me really excited.

i'll always take oasis over blur...saw them two weeks before they broke up at roskilde and they were really fucking good, after that i got more into their records....these days everyone in music is such a pussy, the gallaghers were the last true rock stars....buttttt there not gonna headline (just had to put in my two cents)

The problem with these fake like ups and they always overestimate the number of headliners/really famous bands that will be there...as ridiculous as it sounds Radiohead headlining isn't even the most unbelievable part of this poster (and that's probably never gonna happen)

Oh sweet Jesus, why does it have to sound EXACTLY like I thought it would? this is 100% true, i wouldn't mind seeing them play the slot BSS played last year but based on their coachella billing things don't look promising

The Pixies announced more tour dates this morning and it looks like they're going to be back in North America this spring with the last stop listed being a show in Vancouver on may 3rd. They would probably be my dream monday headliner and based on their history with Adam Zacks (he produced their last few shows in seattle) I would call them a solid rumor.

I would say the arctic monkeys are a sub that could maybe headline....and they are playing some fests later in the summer in europe, probable not big enough to headline in america though.

with that being said, a band like radiohead or u2 just doesn't need sasquatch.......and any idiot could tell you that

yeah with regards to finances as someone who used to work at booking somewhat large acts for my college it's not like every band has a price they will and won't do a show for, it's a lot more complicated and has a lot to do with the level of inconvenience the show would be for the performer. It would probably cost 50 or 60g to get rick ross to come in and do sasquatch but you would only have to pay him 5 or 10 to get him in a club in miami. Basically......because we don't know every bands touring schedule and their managers strategy for mapping out their tour we really have no way of telling what band is or isn't out of Sasquatch's price range even if you attempt to calculate their budget through the ticket price or through the size of band's previous venues.

@ lol, I could see that happening if you got rid of the stokes and made arcade fire headline that night instead (too many headliners for sasquatch) then I could see a band like phoenix subbing for a less commercial act like portishead (kind of like MGMT before ween)

While on stage, Dave Grohl will bite the head off of a small creature and use the blood to draw a pentagram. He will then at the stroke of midnight take a crash cymbal off the drumset and throw it as if it were a frisbee into the crowd (having learned to do so from Omar in 2008 amiright), decapitating a young blonde virgin. There's no fucking way this happens....everyone knows the george employees will pull the plug on anything going on on the main stage after midnight! ALL OF THE NEIGHBORS ARE TRYING TO SLEEP!!!

I think that it just comes down to how early festivals book these bands. I think they just already know that Sasquatch is going to pay them alot, so they plan their tours around the big pay check. So it may seem like their rushing from Primavera, but in reality it is just the end of their European tour and they have to come back to America anyway. I flew from europe on the same plane as BSS on my way to sasquatch last year and they were not happy about making the trip in such a short turnaround, I wouldn't count on too many bands from primavera being there unless its bands like fleet foxes or belle and sebastion that would probably get paid a ton based on sasquatch's fan base.

fair enough, I really know nothing about them except they used to be really famous ....in that case modest mouse mouse could headline the last night
