I dig the lineup, so I went ahead and got myself a Sasquatch weekend pass (general admission) and a camping pass. Now that the month is coming closer, it's actually looking like I likely won't be able to make it. Bummer, but it is what it is.
As such, looking to offload my ticket. I would really prefer to sell the camping pass with the weekend ticket, but if you need just one or the other, let me know what your offer is.
If you're in the Seattle area, or can come here to pick them up, and we can make the sale in-person, I'll hand you the wristband and camping pass right then for $350. The total after taxes and fees for both was $425 for me, so this is IMO a good deal for whomever snags it. If you're outside of Seattle or otherwise request shipping, I'll add just a bit to cover shipping to wherever you are.
If something happens and it looks like I can go after all, I'll update this post. Hit me with your PMs!

As much as I'm over Sasquatch this year personally, I wish all of you the best of times today/this weekend! I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel an emptiness about it today.

Um, what the fuck? 100% fuck Live Nation, but this new festival pass they're advertising is craaaazy cheap if you go to even 3 or 4 of the festivals. I'm a little baffled. Do they think people won't travel that much and they'll make their money back? festivalpassport.com

FYF being an AEG festival + the Gorge being a LiveNation venue = never gonna happen Yeah, no shit. Just posting my current fantasy, but thanks for not allowing me to get away with dreaming.

Sounds like a bunch of us will be going to FYF.
We need to somehow get FYF to get a second festival at the Gorge. Or the guys that do Levitation festivals (Austin Psych Fest).

I think it's pretty fucked up to not have offered day passes for YEARS, announce JUST Frank Ocean early to get early bird weekend passes sold, then drop a half-lineup and give people the chance to pay to just see Frank's single day.
I don't care if they're trying to mitigate losses, they're shitting on the most dedicated fans first and foremost. I won't be supporting this festival again unless there was a really significant return to form another year. I think if you are a big music fan and are willing to pay for this shit, you're part of the problem.
Upstream seriously looks twice as good already, even if it cost the same–which makes it like eight times as good in reality.

Just in case anybody else lurker or otherwise is thinking about asking for a refund they gave me the green light on it immediately on the phone. My exact words were "something came up", and when prompted with what (three minutes into him already processing the refund) I just gave him the first excuse that came to mind. They're really cool and understanding it seems. My experience was just like this–pretty straightforward and it involved no kind of pushback on my refund request. However, one of my groups of friends who was going has so far not been able to get their refunds. They even purchased the ticket insurance, which was supposed to be about giving you the option of getting your money back if you can't make the show! They've called LiveNation several times, and multiple supervisors have told them variations of "It's been more than three days since the purchase, we can't refund it" or "you'll need to contact the venue" or "you'll need to contact the insurance company." When calling the insurance company to utilize the benefit/point of the additional insurance they purchased, they were told they'd need to have some kind of documented proof showing why they can't make it to the show (i.e. a doctor's note, a note from work stating they can't make the dates, etc). What. The. Fuck.

I just requested a refund. They said they had to file a request with the venue and promoter. Did anyone else get this? I probably should have pushed harder since LiveNation is the promoter, but I guess I can go down that route if it is rejected. My guy didn't say specifically "with the venue and promoter", but he did have to submit a request for a refund (rather than being able to process it himself). At the time, I was told I would either receive an email in a few days with a reason the refund was not approved or I would just see the refund processed on my card. The latter happened this morning.

And for the love of Snacks, quit refunding your presale tickets. We're all in this together. You bought the ticket, now take the ride. Yeah, fuck that. I've supported Sasquatch loyally for nearly a decade, spending hundreds each year and convincing dozens others to go over the years. The cost of the festival has gone up and up and up the last several years, with the quality going the opposite direction. This year is abysmal, and I'm voting with my dollars. Cancelling a presale (discounted) ticket is about as strong a message as I can send to the organizers. Please explain to me how ignoring that the lineup sucks and going anyway this year will encourage LiveNation to do anything but continue with this same approach?

In my mind, it's RIP Sasquatch. I'm open to a return to form, of course, but I'm done keeping my hopes up. Certainly done with buying presale tickets ever again, at the very least.

Received a refund for my early bird passes. I told them I had a conflict, nothing more. Requested via TicketMaster chat support on Monday. They gave me a hard pass on this, just now. Said the no refund policy is strict, but they can submit a request through the venue and see what happens. Is this what they said to you? Or did Ticketmaster do it themselves? Maybe I just got lucky with the chat support advisor I got? I never was transferred, nor did I request a manager/senior advisor or anything. Simply requested a refund saying I had a work conflict and could not make the dates. edit: Frankly, if I were you, I'd call/chat back and make a fuss about others online getting refunds from TicketMaster. I'm hearing from people online that it often takes a bit of pushing back to get it done (though I didn't experience that).

Received a refund for my early bird passes. I told them I had a conflict, nothing more. Requested via TicketMaster chat support on Monday. I'm so surprised they're letting people do this. Really makes me think that they plan on cancelling it. What is particularly shitty is this: When buying early bird passes, it was presented that if you purchase ticket insurance (at an additional fee), you'd have the option of requesting a refund if need be. I did not buy this insurance, nor have I ever, so I was assuming my refund request would be denied. Received my refund this morning, though. My friends who also bought early bird passes and DID buy insurance? They are being told by LiveNation that the only way to get a refund is to go through the insurance company, who has not responded to them yet after days of waiting. Seems pretty fucked up, given these people paid extra to have the refund option. I agree that it feels more and more likely the festival will be cancelled.

Selling one normal GA pass at ticket face value ($275). I also have a $99 standard camping pass that can be included or not.
Please PM me for offers or details. First come, first served. I live in Seattle and can arrange the sale in person.
