Outkast would be a pretty huge fish for Sasquatch.

Excuse my loose use of the term "headlining."
If it was up to me, they would have been headlining one of the honeybucket stages on day 5.

I'm with you on that! We can always use more Akron/Family.

Not a Macklemore fan. The whole Macklemore / Mumford / Lumineers headlining trio actually made me a bit bummed on the lineup at first, though it ended up being another great year. I think I was actually back at the camp at that point, that night, so it makes sense I forgot about Vampy Weeks.

I'm confused at how I somehow forgot they even played last year.

I think there's a really good chance we'll get Vampire Weekend, again. It's been, what, three years? Their latest album topped lots of best of 2014 lists (tippy top). No tour dates listed after May, and you know they're going to be hitting the festivals heavily.
In fact, the only conflict I can see as a possibility is that they may be doing too many festivals to hit one they've done within recent years.

In my excitement for the DoubleSquatch lineup announcements, I was thinking of some bands/artists that would fit Squatch in terms of size/touring popularity, have played Sasquatch in the past, have new albums coming out, etc.
This is a long thread, so some of these have possibly been mentioned. I know I personally mentioned the first one a few posts ago. Feel free to not read those lines or chide me about it!
War on Drugs - April 2014 album, played Squatch before. My Morning Jacket - 2014 album, no summer tour dates listed yet. Joanna Newsom - 2014 album, no summer tour dates listed yet. Ty Segall / Ty Segall Band / FUZZ - It would be a weird year if Ty Segall didn't come out with at least one or two albums, no summer tour dates listed for any of his bands (March is the latest I can find anywhere). Spoon - 2014 album, no dates listed. Fleet Foxes - 2014 album, no dates listed. We all know Sub Pop loves Sasquatch, and Sasquatch loves Sub Pop. Run the Jewels - 2014 album, no dates after April. Both Killer Mike and El-P (both halves of RTJ) played Sasquatch last year, but I can't decide if that means it's less or more likely that they come together. Bat for Lashes - 2014 album, no tour dates listed. Real Estate - 2014 album, no tour dates listed. James Blake - No dates listed after March, and frankly, I'm surprised James Blake hasn't played Sasquatch yet. Flying Lotus - 2014 album, no tour dates listed. Played Sasquatch a couple years ago, but the overlap at the time was ridiculous (Flaming Lips on the Main Stage, Yeasayer on Honda and FlyLo in the big tent). Schoolboy Q - 2014 album, no conflict tour dates listed. The complication here is Schoolboy Q was scheduled to play Sasquatch last year, and it didn't happen. So the likelihood of this is going to be dependent on exactly how that went down behind the scenes, I would imagine. Broken Bells - 2014 album, no tour dates listed after March. No tour dates listed at all for The Shins, either, so no conflict there, as of yet.
I'm sure I'll think of some more.

Last year, when Tame Impala had been announced, I suggested to Zacks that he book Pond, their sister band, as (at the time) they shared band members, had a new album out, and have never played Squatch. Zacks replied saying it was a great idea, and he was going to look into it.
It obviously didn't happen, but my heart wants that to mean Pond will be at one of the weekends this year! They're somewhat fucking incredible live.

War on Drugs killed it at Sasquatch a couple years back, and they both have a new album coming out this summer (Zacks likes to book bands touring tasty new albums), and no tour dates scheduled throughout either of the two weekends (though they have 25+ dates listed for the spring/summer).
Hoping!

Five-year running Squatch vet, first time poster.
Just bought a couple pairs of two-weekend passes. So stoked for the lineup announcements!
