Decemberists are about a 60-70 percent chance right now. Both bands they're playing with in Oregon are on the bill for the same day, they've got the big PNW connection, and I'm "hearing" things, so...

Mars Volta is like if you took ATDI, put them on drugs and mixed in a jazz band and some latin influence. If you listen to ATDI, that rock/alternative sound became Sparta and that experimental bizarre sound got turned up to 11 and is Mars Volta.

Weird that they'd do Portland, then Vancouver, then Seattle..you'd think Seattle and Vancouver would be flipped.

I feel bad for everyone who skipped any bands to see Spearhead, cuz he played at the end of the night after the Beasties were ending.
1and2 on the list, both are 50/50. Tegan and Sara are hugely popular and sell out anything they play up here, but that's something a second stager needs.
Walla is very likely
Not so much the postal service.
Nada Surf/Harvey Danger (and Fall of Troy, Schoolyard Heroes, etc.). Look how many local bands there are. Look how many will likely be on other stages (Walla? Blue Scholars? Tegan/Sara?). They usually run a 6-8 band local stage. Do we have 18-24 of those yet? If not, expect more.
Tokyo Police: Well, they hit both Washington festivals last year didn't they? I'm not sure how eager either side is to have them back, based on thenumber of repeats though, it's possible.
Eddie Vedder would be a huge pull for Sasquatch, and would likely be announced very soon or very late, either to boost early sales or hold up flagging ones

Is that Vancouver Canada or Vancouver Wa? If the latter, doubtful. If the former..still doubtful, but they'd have a nutty tour schedule to accommodate it.

Mars Volta will second headline day 3 (the jam band sort of day) once they get confirmed, which is just a matter of time.
There are other "big" bands to come, which I assume means bands on the scale of The Hives or The Kooks and not MM or Flaming Lips

There's what, 55 bands?
Expect 15-25 more before it's all said and done.

So who is the third headliner? Flaming Lips? Or do you think another headliner will be added? Right now it's gonna be Mars Volta leading into Flaming Lips. They're a great show closer.

I sure hope so, I really like those guys. This has been a long and painfull wait. Twice now an End DJ has teased knowing the lineup, then played them (who they don't normally play anymore)

I'm about half sure Cold War Kids are playing now.

I'd like to add that The End (Seattle's "alt" station and one of the ones going to be pushing this concert heavily) is pissing me off with all these teases about knowing the lineup already, and not announcing it until Monday morning.

Source as in the site: that's totally reliable. Sasquatch is a total possibility, and the most likely of any festival, assuming they play a festival at all.

Much as I'd freaking love that, I wouldn't bank on it. That's a 3 week gap of doing nothing or touring just to get back where they started.

Well, if we get someone "edgier", I can see them booking SYH for a show either opening the Mainstage (don't scoff, local bands have before) or to close out one of the other stages. Sure they're a different sound, but they're getting hugely popular.
It wouldn't shock me to see the winner of Sound Off there this year.

I don't think that every band touring in the greater PNW area around Memorial Day weekend is going to play...

Actually, there's not nearly enough local bands on that lineup. I'd expect to see Mnomena (sp), Aqudecut, Tapes n Tapes, Speaker Speaker, Man Down Medic, the winner of EMP's sound off, whoever it should be, Fall of Troy etc. I mean, not all of those, but some.
I think the comedy tent may take the place of some of the mini arcades they had. Especially with it being a tent, I can't imagine them pulling a stage for that.

I honestly don't see the Cops main staging it. And I really would expect Gogol Bordello to close out one of the smaller stages. Keep in mind there's two, Wookie and Yeti, one being pretty much local bands only. I'd expect Siberian, Kay Kay, The Cops and Built to Spill all to hit that stage at one point or another. Although B2S could easily play early mainstage.

The food will be overpriced, poorly cooked, not as advertised festival fare. 8 dollar burned cheeseburger with no cheese, oh BOY

Yeti is almost solely populated by PNW bands, and usually not bigger ones. Without knowing who's playing this year, a general idea would be Aqueduct, Man Down Medic, Mneomena (can't spell it to save my life), etc. Fall of Troy and Schoolyard Heroes will likely be the big bands you see there this year.
