If Postal Service are reuniting for a tour, they have to do Sasquatch, right? Shit, they'd probably headline. That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw that. If they're on the Coachella lineup, I think we can count on them being at Sasquatch too. It'd be awesome if they took the rumored Mumford and Sons headlining spot.

That show is on Vancouver Island, not in Vancouver. Oh. Well, that's kind of awesome for us, the Victoria Clipper leaves straight from downtown Seattle. Does anyone know what boarder patrol is like on the clipper?

All you Canadians should go see Bonobo at Sugar Nightclub on Friday. Me and Burrito might try to go but it's a crapshoot if they will let us into your country.
Souly- That's the same night as your Lady Gaga show, right? If we make it into the country we should hang out after!

Mmmkay... I combed this entire thread and wrote down every band that was wishlisted (regardless of feasibility and/or talent) and kept a tally. I deleted all the bands that were only mentioned once, that list was like close to 150 artists.
Here's the breakdown based on how many times a band was wishlisted:
9 PRIMUS Animal Collective (including votes for solo acts)
7 Death Grips Grizzly Bear Portishead
6 Modeselektor Built to Spill B.jork
5 Hot Chip YACHT The Knife Daft Punk Parov Stelar
4 Four Tet Crystal Castles The National Tool Passion Pit WHY? Slint Yo La Tengo Deadmau5
3 The XX Cake TV on the Radio Earl Sweatshirt Caribou Daphni Vampire Weekend Tribe Called Quest Reunion Tame Impala PJ Harvey How To Destroy Angels Battles Flying Lotus Macklemore Tomahawk Kraftwerk
2 Mumford and Sons Red Hot Chilli Peppers Radiohead Fuck Buttons Beat Connection Atoms for Peace QOTSA Arcade Fire Robyn Bad Brains Pinback SOUNDGARDEN Bonobo Missy Elliot Wu Tang Clan Interpol Little Dragon Danny Brown Thee Oh Sees Deerhoof Deerhunter Nice nice Akron/Family Sigur Ros the Glitch Mob Big Boi STS9 Girl TALK Infected Mushroom The Lumineers Matt and Kim Mark Farina Christopher Owen

Haha. That is probably a fake lineup but I think Primavera has to be my number one wishlist festival to attend. I've been fantasizing about Primavera for the past couple years but then I see pics like these and it stresses me the fuck out. I survived Bonnarroo and Coachella, which aren't any better but I don't know them European festivals (Glastonbury sounds like torture) can be a bit intimidating, not to mention the cost. One day...

I was talking to my friend who works in the music department at Amazon and is involved with some of the booking for Bumbershoot. He thinks it is highly likely that Adam Snacks or someone who works for Adam Snacks checks this board regularly looking for input on which bands to book for Sasquatch. Apparently surfing music message boards is standard practice at Amazon and Bumbershoot. They're probably getting the lineup finalized in the next few weeks, so it might be a good time to repost them wishlists.
Or maybe a fancy moderator can make a poll or something...

Sooo holy shit if this is real. Didn't come directly from the festival though, so it's either a leak or fake. Most likely fake, but holy shit if it's real. What is "Deerhof"? Hmmm....

Sorry Souly! You should obviously still come down and hang out before and/or after Lady Gaga. HG- We should sexually combine BTS and boarder hang out. We can either carpool back up to Seattle on Saturday Feb 2nd or just do it in Portland whichever is best for the majority.

I consider myself extremely lucky to not only have met Doug Martsch a few times but to have also have worked alongside Brett Netson of BTS. They are all some of the most down to earth musicians I have ever met. Figglehorn... A little birdy told me that Wonk has an extra ticket to the sold out BTS show on 2/1 in Portland. Are you still planning on coming to that with us on your way to MOVE TO SEATTLE!? Also, Burrito and I were talking and we'd feel pretty bad about hosting a huge boarder party 2 weeks before you move in. So, I think we're gonna post-pone Boarderfest a few weeks so Fig can partake. We will keep everyone posted (pun intended).

Burrito and I saw Stagnant Pools open for Pedro the Lion last week. We caught the first and last 10 minutes of their set but opted out to smoke for the bulk of it. Maybe we should give em another try...

Calling it now - Seattle and Atlanta will meet in the NFC Championship. ...and then the winner of that game will lose in the Super Bowl. Because God hates both of our cities. 150 points in the last 3 games?! Daaayum. But this is the sketchy part... can this kind of momentum be sustained into the post season/over the next 5 games? Just hoping we haven't peaked too soon. And yes, I am a fairweather fan who only gets excited about my teams when they perform like badasses. What can I say, growing up as a diehard M's fan broke me over the years.
