Ben Folds 5 solt out, pooter. Very sad panda! I planned on going to the box office yesterday but my goddamn final exam tragedy screwed that up and when I went today I got the bad news that it sold out yesterday. SCHOOL IS RUINING MY LIFE. The silver lining is that you've got extra cheese if you want to do the Neurosis thing.

many people tripping balls would set themselves and/or surrounding campsites on fire. Burrito almost burned the gorge down in 2010.

Fuuuuuck (HG- sorry about all them vowels but in this case I really do mean Fuuuuuck) Laptop won't turn on beyond the boot window, pretty sure the operating system is fried. Oh, and that final exam I spent hours and hours on? That's gone too. Starting over now... Say it ain't so! Pull the battery. Sometimes the computer forgets it's fucked when there is no power source. This probably won't work, but it's worth a try. I tried that and a bunch of other things that were suggested, to no avail. Bout half way done.

I could only see my dick shirt from an aerial view; likewise Burrito. You had the best vantage point. At his height, Wonk has an aerial view of pretty much everything, me thinks.

I do like their stuff. I just really disliked what I witnessed (maybe it was a one time bad show though) According to Burrito, the launch party performance was pretty fucking terrible too. After listening to their album and watching some videos, I refused to go to the launch party with him. When he got home he told not going was a good choice, so it must've been pretty damn bad.

Someone forgot what looks like a denim apron of some sort at our place. Sound familiar to anyone? Considering the frequency with which this happens, there should be a Forum Party Lost & Found thread. That's my painting apron. I can get it in February at BUILT TO FUCKIN SPILL.

Good! This band is was so insufferably bad. A joke "band" that was never funny, sayonara, you won't be missed. Remember Sasquatch 2011's launch party had Das Racist AND The Thermals playing? Talk about torture!

Has anyone else seen Life of Pi? I enjoyed the movie, but doubt I would have had I not already read the book. And it also fell a bit short of the book in my estimation. Thoughts? I read the book and saw the movie. I preferred the book by far. The movie was beautiful, as all Ang Lee productions are but I didn't like the actors much. The kid actor was okay but the grown up version and the Canadian reporter were awkward and cheesy. I also don't remember God being as huge of a focus in the book as it was in the movie.

I don't know. Some of the movies and tv shows made from his books are pretty disappointing. Aren't you worried they'll just fuck it up. Rose Red

I noticed that Marco Benevento is playing the Dour Fir the weekend following Built to Spill. I saw the Benevento Russo Duo when I was in college and it was a really cool show. Benevento plays with some crazy distortions/experimental jazz stuff on the piano. If you're into that kind of thing, I'd reccommend it. Also, sometimes Dave Dreiwitz from WEEN plays bass for him, not sure if he is on this tour or not though.

Yup, I just got through again too. Really strange because it first said, "keep trying" then said, "this event is no longer on sale." That is why I said it is now officially sold out. Turns out they are still available. KEEP TRYING. FIG!!!!!

Hmm. Well, the site told me that it was sold out but then a friend went in five minutes later and picked up two tickets. So, uhh, maybe try anyway. Who the fuck knows how these things work. It is officially sold out now. I also got tickets after you said it was sold out, so thanks for the reminder. I spaced it. A lot of these sites are terrible about giving you the option to release tickets you don't want. I do dry runs all the time to see if a show is sold out, but those tickets are stuck to my username for 10-15 minutes until they get released back to the public. Keep trying is the take away. Fuuuuuck. Guess I'll be heading to the trenches of craigslist for this one.
