Wow, love the Deerhoof add, upset about Japandroids. I think that they are playing the Capital hill party though, so not too upset. Big Win.

I just got the new Sound Magazine in the mail and it has the official program, which includes a map of the grounds with set up... Dustin, I looked through a Sound magazine on Saturday and could not find a map. All I saw was a one page add for Sasquatch with the line-up in there. I tried emailing the festival too for them to upload it on their site, but I have not heard back. If you have the time, it would be really cool if you could scan the map and post it here.

I'm really looking forward to this set. I would be happy if they are playing mostly songs from the new album and then some older hits. I'm trying to stay away from the youtube clips so that I can get a fresh experience for my first time seeing them live. I hear that they blend their songs together, right?
I agree that it would be nice if they are playing at night, since they are kind of my "headliner" for Saturday. I'm just looking forward to hearing Passion Pit into King Khan into Mt. Saint Helens into Animal Collective. Thats a pretty good start off to any festival.
And I hear you Knowidya - we are less than 20 days away. Time to start looking over the checklist and making sure that we have everything ready. First Sasquatch for me and can't wait. Chatter Chatter Chatter.

deerhoof? There on the play list but i see them no where on the lineup. It would fit into their tour schedule so can anyone clarify? How long have they been on the playlist? They'd be a fantastic late addition. Thats really weird, I never noticed them on there before. That would be great though. I have been hoping for that for months now. If they are added, I would think that they would be playing on Monday to push ticket sales. Where do you fit them? Could they play after EITS? That would kinda suck though since it would conflict with Chromeo. Unless there is going to be a late scratch from another band.

Its funny, I have been trying to google image search for a Sasquatch map. I still can't find one, although I have seen multiple Lolla, Coachella, and Bumbershoot maps. Anyways, the funny part is when I am google-ing, there are a bunch of people that are posting maps of where they had their "Sasquatch" encounter. Lots of crazys out there.

The more I look into bands on this line-up the happier I get. Ra Ra Riot is good stuff. I did not know the Submarines were the "Iphone song" band, so I am checking them out now. I definitely have been enjoying some Mt. Saint Helens Vietnam band lately too. My schedule continues to evolve and I don't think that I am going to make it over to the comedy tent because there are too many good bands.

Not to sound like a jerk, but I think it means that they are going to be spinning records, probably with a few of their songs in the mix.
Probably a remix or two of theirs and a bunch of songs that they like. It should be lots of fun and I think that they are known to rock the house with their dj sets. I'm looking forward to it being the capper to a great weekend.

I can't believe no one has mentioned NIN vs. of Montreal as a conflit, thats probably the biggest one for me. I guess their fanbases dont have that much crossover. Also I agree that Doves vs. Passion Pit is the other big conflict in my eyes. Thats my biggest conflict as well, but I guess I was prepared for it being that I knew that Of Montreal was playing the Wook while NIN was playing the main stage. At least you will be able to catch some of NIN before Of Montreal. Still sucks, but I knew Sunday was going to be really top heavy with Of Montreal, NIN, TVOTR, and Janes. Pdxmeyer, NIN was playing old songs on their last tour. I saw them at Lolla (2008 not 1991) and they played Head like a hole and Terrible Lie. Their Lights in the Sky set up was pretty insane visually. It was a good show. I would imagine that they would play some crowd favorites at Sasquatch since it is a festival and they want to keep the crowd engaged. I also agree that Of Montreal should be on Sasquatch stage either right before or after TVOTR. I don't know which band would be considered bigger. I saw them both in Atlanta and there was a bigger turn out for Of Montreal, but they are from Athens, GA so they are kinda a "local" product. I guess TVOTR would probably be bigger nationally as they have been on SNL and Colbert and such. But I would consider Of Montreal to be the better live band. As for conflicts, other than the Of Montreal/NIN one, my biggest issues are not that bad - EITS v. Tobacco and Grizzly Bear vs Black Moth Super Rainbow. I will probably split the Grizzly Bear/Black Moth Super Rainbow situation but the EITS v Tobacco deal is more complicated with the Dance tent being involved. I guess I am just skipping out on EITS to see Tobacco which gets me in the dance tent for Chromeo. They really got the dance party kicking on the end of Monday night with Girl Talk/Tobacco/Chromeo. I wish they had that going on at the beginning of the festival instead of the end. I am just happy that they give us over a month with the actual schedule to figure out what we want to do. Shit, Coachella puts out their line up the week of the festival and Bonnaroo usually sets their schedule about three weeks in advance. You don't even know what days that the Bonnaroo artists are playing until the schedule comes out. Its nice to be able to see a line up this early and be able to fill in the dead spots on your schedule by getting into bands that you have not heard of before the festival. Just five weeks out. I guess I will get my festival fix this weekend watching the Coachella webcast. Ending long post.

Cell phones; no problem- with verizon No bugs- i didn't see any or have any bites Thanks for the response. Good to hear about the lack of bugs. I got Verizon so that's works. It seemed like Verizon was the only company that worked at Lolla and Bonnaroo which was nice. It definitely pays to have Verizon.

the last band pretty much plays how ever long they feel like playing, the cure went for almost 3 hours last year. they had better give NIN at least an hour and a half slot. Good deal. I was hoping for a 1.5 hour set out of Of Montreal. I hope that they don't go too long because I want to see most of Janes. I am hoping that I get about 45 minutes of NIN, then run to see Of Montreal from 8:45 to about 10:15 then catching the rest/majority of Janes. I think NIN goes from 8:00 to 9:45 with Janes coming on around 10:15, so they both get about 1:45 for their sets. NIN usually plays longer sets than Jane's from the shows that I have seen. NIN definitely has more material to pull from. Also its about the tenth show of tour so they should be able to transition from NIN to Janes in about 30 minutes. I wonder how crazy the NIN set up is going to be? Its going to be hard to outdo the lights in the sky set up, but I am sure that Trent will come up with something cool.

I think they are just reaffirming the order up top, which was the easiest part to predict. I don't have time to update the list currently, but I did switch Mos Def and Bon Iver. It seems obvious the plan is for Bon Iver to close the Wookie, for now. The starting times for each band looks accurate, while the length of the set is obviously wrong. For example, NIN is starting at 8, which makes much more sense as a dual headliner, while the YYYs are starting at 815, giving them at least 15 minutes less to play than NIN, since the headliners start at 10 each night. Do you really think NIN will finish at 9, and have an hour intermission for Jane's Addiction? Yeah, the top of your schedule looks pretty right on to what they posted. They have the Yeah Yeah Yeahs starting at 8:30. It also seems like the comedy tents are all set with the comedians having their times posted. Most of the acts have times, except the People's Republic of Komedy. Whats weird is the dance acts. They have James Pants and Natalie Portman's going from 9:00 pm to 9:00 pm on their respective days. So I guess the dance tent stuff will start at 9 except since there are three dance tent people on Monday with Amanda Blank starting at 7:30 to 8:30. But they dont have when the dance "headliners" will start. I would figure like 10:30ish going until 12ish. It would be cool if they played after the Sasquatch stage headliner was finished, like from 12:00 to 2:00 but since the band before them plays at 9 it does not seem likely. I assume that the last band on each stage basically gets 1.5 to 2 hours, right? I am hoping to get at least a 1.5 hour set from Of Montreal going from 8:45 to 10:15. Is this reasonable to expect?
