13) Big Boi @ Rifflandia Although this just wet my whistle for the full Outkast reunion!
Big Boi was generically boring when I saw him earlier this year. If the reunion happens, Andre better carry that shit, otherwise they'll need hang-gliders shooting roman candles at each other and elephants shitting on movie stars to make that show worth seeing.
Fake poster or not, I am inclined to believe that Grimes will be back at one of the Squatches this year after she had the biggest crowd of the weekend on the Bigfoot last year.
I could have been playing the kazoo and making fart noises with my armpit, and had the biggest Bigfoot crowd given that time slot. There was no one else schedule during Grimes first 30 minutes, and only a dance tent no name scheduled during their second 30 minutes. More telling than the size of the crowd were the 5,000+ who chose to watch nothing instead.
I wish there were a mod function that made it possible to ban Drunk Rusty but still let Regular Rusty post.
Funny thing is, Rusty has been trolling this board longer than all of you have been active. Once the board gained traffic and turned him on to new favorites (beck), he gave up his troll accounts and became rusty. He reverts occasionally when he's drunk.
I have no fucking clue what I was talking about, I was just stoned and I thought it sounded funny. I still think it sounds funny. I haven't heard Reflektor, and if I ever do it will certainly be by accident -- that much was true. But I can tell you now that I'll hate it more than any previous Arcade Fire album, based on the material from the record that I have heard.
That shit's embarrassing, dudes.
You know automatically hating something you've never tried lowers the validity of your opinions on what you have tried. That's some nick shit right there.
Good to see Jimi getting some love on a music message board. Dude would be groundbreaking if he came out this year. The fact he started nearly a half century ago is mind boggling. Those poor hippies must have been scared shitless.
Did you see Melt-Banana? Jimi is my second favorite guitarist, after that guy.
Yeah, that guy was phenomenal. I was upset at the lack of a live drummer, and the inclusion of the play button. You know I hate the play button. Decent show, but a live drummer would have made that show one of my favorites of the year. If only I saw them a couple years ago before they split.
