No, now I am trying to put into perspective the constant belligerent hating. This is an upcoming shows thread; not really a place to debate whether someone else's upcoming show(s) sucks or not. And not really a place for inane hyperbole. If Foster The People is the worst artist to come out in years, then why are you attending a festival where they are booked? I certainly would not. But hey, to each their own.
On the Muse-issue, since it will not go away. Maybe you should find out what the conversation was about, sometimes referred to as context, before you continue posting the same inane bullshit. White Stripes had cancelled due to Meg's illness; Arcade Fire was headlining while Muse was on another stage; and a trolling poster retorted to my post about it being a no-brainer that it would be Muse one would see. This individual has seen AF over ten times; he was simply trolling. I responded with the post that one of this board's trolls keeps re-posting, five years later. Full Disclosure: I had already seen Muse at that point, unlike many others. I saw them at Red Rocks in September 2007.
Upcoming (Tonight's) show of note: Kyle Kinane at Boomer's.

What does that say about the FESTIVAL and their organisers/bookers?

And yet they played to the without a doubt the largest crowd at the Yeti in the entire weekend -- maybe of all-time -- at the festival you patronise. What does that say about you (and your opinion)?

Oh yeah. I am selling that stuff on eBay to benefit myself after we get back from San Francisco.

You said we had a date set up. If you failed to notice, because the shit spewing from your brain clouds your surroundings for you, you are the only one threatening with pissing on someone else and challenging/calling-out. I never did such a thing; not really my style. You are e-talking a mile a minute like if you are some kind of tough guy. Either you are a tough guy, or you just play one over the internets on sasquatchfest.proboards. Which one is it?

You offer an absolutely unbiased account of our exchanges. Also, you are accomplished at deflection. Who was going to urinate on who again? Just wondering.

Do Not Click HereDo not use the arrow to go back to competition results going back as far as 2008. Do not cease in proclaiming that you would urinate on my feet after seeing this. Carry on. E

No one is stupid enough to get violent with a BJJ practitioner unless they are about to jump them or are coming armed to an unarmed fight.

It blows my mind that Deadma5s charges 100$+ per ticket and sells out. Blows my mind. For the Chelsea shows, the tickets are much less. I believe they were 50$ (no fees) when they were first announced as early birds; currently they are 75$ -- which I think is too much, and by the looks of tickets available for both nights in a very small venue a lot of other people think the same.
E
Postscript. I have seen Barry Manilow four times; have had tickets for six shows (he cancelled twice). I would see Wayne Newton; Tom Jones; Rod Stewart; and countless others. Barbara Streisand. Cher. Whitney Houston. Tina Turner. I would see Elton John again. So.

Barry Manilow. I would watch Barry Manilow once a weekend if I could; it is FREE (for me) afterall. What is the fucking big deal? I have seen everyone that you great gig-goers that are 'too good' to see a Hall-of-Famer like Manilow have seen (and then some).
On Deadmouse. It would be a significant step down for Goldenvoice to close out the mainstage after the real headliner with that hack. From Tiesto to Chemical Brothers to Deadmouse? What is next: Skrillex? Maybe that guy from Jersey Shore. Give me a fucking break. The difference between Tiesto and DM is that Tiesto can be seen for 100$+, DM .... you guess. Tiesto hardly plays festivals in the U.S.; DM can be seen at everything, everywhere. I have seen (and walked away) the hack at (Cypress Hill's) Smokeout. Smokeout! The guy sucks and would be a definite downgrade. GV pays Daft Punk whatever it is that they require to be paid and that is final.
Fucking Deadmouse. Ridiculous*.
E
*In regards to the mainstage closing; if you love the guy and are paying hard-earned money to see him spin live, all the power to you. No criticism of that. He is playing two ticketed nights at the Boulevard Pool; fly in for it. He has mini-residencies all the time here as well. See him for free.

Barry Manilow plays at Paris Las Vegas which is very much so on the strip. But do not let facts get in the way of your unhealthy obsession for another man, or the shows I am at.
It puts it all in perspective when you cannot post your own fucking upcoming shows in the upcoming shows thread and be happy with it, but go out of your way to criticize others' shows attended.

Do you wait for everything to come out in video or to the 1$ theatre? Must be a helluva thing to try to justify to the date; "no we cannot see that ... it is not at the discount theatre yet. Let's see 'Soul Surfer' instead."

Lots of insults hurled online by cowards who could not come close to doing so in real life.
Tonight's show: Barry Manilow @ Le Theatre Des Arts. Other Lives @ Book & Stage. DJ Eddie Edge @ Bond.
