Haha, that's fucking hilarious! I would also like to personally announce that I heard the us anthem more than the Canadian this year. So I guess if you hate the true north strong and free, stay at pregnant horse.
1. Vampire Weekend - minus the overcrowdedness related panic attack! 2. Built to Spill 3. Arctic Monkeys
Just realized that's all I saw on Friday! I shat the bed that day fer sure. (Although I don't call having awesome times in the campground shitting the bed that hard.)
1. SIGUR ROS!! Seriously one of the best experiences of my life. I can't thank my little cuddle puddle compatriots enough. 2. John Talabot 3. Holy Ghost! I had so much damn fun dancing my pants off at that show.
1. Grimes - too quiet but damn that girl is a magic fairy pixie of awesome. 2. The Presets - Can't believe how much they surprised me. Whoever said their live show is so different from their records was spot on! 3. Shovels and Rope - I seriously cannot believe I had to experience my boardgasm alone when they covered "Kiss Off" by the Violent Femmes.
1. JENNY LEWIS!!!!!!!! Not that any of you would know that, I was pretty quiet about it. 2. Tig Notaro - Best comedy act I've seen at 'squatch. 3. Cake - so enjoyable! I can't believe how many of their songs I have all the lyrics to hiding somewhere in my head.
Honourable mentions: Nick Offerman, Wild Belle (where I'm pretty sure I saw Darth?), Lumineers and "White Noise" by Disclosure. And Mumford and Sons from the top of the world. AND ALL OF YOU LOVELY PEOPLE!!!!! Seriously, all of y'all take the awesomeness of Sasquatch to such wonderful heights. So much love.
