Thanks everyone who's been putting Liars on their lists. DAMN. Not sure if they are in my top 10, but right now I think I'll choose Liars over De La Soul now that I know for sure that conflict exists. I guess I can still catch the tail end of De La Soul's set.

I've all but given up on the food in the venue. My plan was to pack that allowed 1 gallon bag full of Cliff bars and/or Jerky, and spend my money on beer. Probably a better investment than food that is going to have you running to the honeybuckets all day.

Wouldn't that be great.. I actually think this is not Sasquatch though. Maybe DMB? I imagine by labor day it is a giant dust bowl. That is pretty green and doesn't seem like it has seen the abuse of a summer of shows yet.

So the sheet that came with my Wristband still talks about 4th of July weekend. Why do they have to keep reminding me about what could have been? What does it look like? Is there anything special about it that justifies the $20 shipping cost?

Maybe they made some other giant mistake, or there were some other major changes keeping them from putting the schedule out there. Maybe Outkast decided to just retire.

I mean they clearly have it made. What is the fucking malfunction. It's all just a big game to them. Some sick game.

What the fuck is up with that giant gap on the Narwhal? Best thing I see right now is that Mogwai have a good spot. Where is the rest of that schedule?

Has anyone received their wristbands in the mail yet? I got the address confirmation e-mail almost three weeks ago and nothing has arrived yet. I have to say I am glad that they didn't come while I was out on business last week, but I am wondering what the hell is going on as well. Maybe they charged us for 2 day shipping because they are going to send them out a week before Memorial Day weekend. Live Nation usually sends you a shipping confirmation saying the tickets have went out.

Dude, Rustu, this mix is sick. It is ill in all of its filth. You seem to know the key to my heart when it comes to electronic music, which is the female voice. Bonus points for sped-up samples. The 20-30 minute mark was my favorite. Is that Beyonce? I needz dat track list. I totally agree about the female voice being key, and it actually surprises me how many more male singers are on these songs when I look at the tracklist. Oh shit, I forgot to send you the tracklist! It's on the mixcloud page too, but I can type it out here as well for ease of use: Chris Malinchak - Call My Name Woodkid - Iron (G. Vump Remix) Disclosure - F For You (Ryan Hemsworth Remix) Lapalux - O.E.A. Haerts - Wings (Shlohmo Remix) Jamie xx and Gil Scott Heron - Ur Soul And Mine Mount Kimbie - Carbonated SBTRKT - Step In Shadows Jaw Jam - The Truth Jacques Greene - Another Girl Bobby Womack - Please Forgive My Heart (Funk Version) Flying Lotus - The Diddler SBTRKT - Pause For Thought Bwana - Can't You Just Machinedrum - Now U Know Tha Deal 4 Real Flying Lotus - Flotus Machinedrum - Heavy Weight DJ Rashad - Let U Know Disclosure - Together (Feat. Nile Rogers, Sam Smith, and Jimmy Napes) For reference, the song at 20:00 is the Mount Kimbie song, and at 30:00 it's Jacques Greene. I really like that part too, those 4 songs mixed together really well! If you want to post the link for other people to listen then you can, it's your mix to do what you feel like with it. Since I didn't deliver it via CD that's my alternative. That's a pretty good track list.

There should be a word for "premier camping". What is the phrase Gramma uses, Fancy Pants camping or something?

Trying out some Texas brews. The Chupahopra is pretty good, the Santo is ok, but not great.

Kraftwerk and Fuck Buttons are playing the same night. Also, what the fuck is up with STG Presents website saying there are 2 different door times for Kraftwerk? It might be possible to see both.
Edit: Kraftwerk are playing 2 shows that night.

I have to go down to Texas for work for all of next week, and I am worried they are going to be sending wristbands in that time. I think if UPS comes 3 days in a row with no answer they send the package back.

That looks like a pretty legit website to me. It is actually a great idea. I see it's been around for a little while because there are older events on there. The older events should time out or something.

I've seen several festivals that had good sound on side stages at the Gorge, and some of these were traveling festivals, so they really should get their shit together. There shouldn't be any excuse, because they have plenty of time to prepare and get that shit dialed in. We pay big festival prices for tickets.

I do have an old friend who knows some covert hiking trails across border. Unfortunately, he went to federal prison for snuggling corn chips across said trails. The Corn Chip Trail has been compromised. Scratch that one off.
