I didn't want to believe your last post so I did some research. I had to finally accept it when I looked at nin.com tour dates, and the last 3 dates don't say with Death Grips under them and the rest of them do. Death Grips just posted on facebook that they will, in fact, be playing those three dates. Nice. Just saw that.

Just revisited Thomas Jack's Soundcloud page since I heard he was playing Paradiso. His Tropical House mixes are pretty good. This is the latest one posted a couple days ago. Definitely sounds like music for good sunny day vibes.

Bummer, but I'm sure they'll pick up somebody good to open. This is Soundgarden's home turf after all, and the tail end of the tour, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did something special. That last Soundgarden show at the Gorge had an epic lineup.

Wandering around District 9 at 5am looking for attractive drunk women to invite backstage is pretty skeevy.

Nine Inch Nails/Soundgarden/Death Grips coming to Ridgefield in August. The facebook announcement said Sleep Country Amphitheater. Is that a better venue than White River? I haven't been to White River, but I heard it sucks. I'm getting presale for one of these.

Oh yeah. I am never really interested in waiting out the lines for artist signings.

No body on this corner of the United States gives a fuck about Wakarusa. This thread title and the yearly spamming is fucking annoying.

The app doesn't look half bad. You can make a schedule and it alerts you when the set is about to start. Not sure if I'll notice the alerts when the festival is actually happening though.
Easy Street records is on the map. Is that new?

I don't like the UPS guy either. I had to give them permission to leave my $30 camera bag, but my $300 wristband was left for the taking. Maybe it was the slightly larger box that made him think is was less safe. I have heard that those rules are specified on the shippers end, but I was not happy about it.

After some thought I decided to go with Wildhorse camping as well. I will feel much more comfortable and secure in that little oasis. Does that mean that district 9 camping is uncomfortable and insecure? Have I been hoodwinked into going camping amoungst the irritating and thieving? And to think I gave up my Premier camping spot and the hot towels that go with it... Not even your socks are safe in District 9, but apparently our underwear are no longer safe in Wildhorse. I'll have to tip off Wildhorse staff about the planned panty raid.

The term 'going postal' comes from the fact that the mail never stops. At least not for another couple of years, anyway. It's a massive pile of work to be done, and it is done constantly, but the pile never gets any smaller. The definition of schizophrenia -- the act of repeatedly doing something the same way with the expectation of producing different results -- applies. As a postal worker, you perform your mechanical little task day in and day out, with the general notion in the back of your mind that if you keep working eventually the work will be done, but the mail keeps coming in and the work is never done. I think it applies more to people who sort mail rather than those who deliver it. Anyone ever read The Great and Secret Show? Sounds like job security to me. Edit: They aren't exactly underpaid either. I get your schizophrenia comparison though.

Below the path from where you walk in the gate. It was fairly close to where the path splits. Actually, it is on this map. Check it out. www.sasquatchfestival.com/map

I don't see why anyone would give a fuck if this guy wants to watch his soccer game. Personally, to me it makes no more sense than watching comedy at a music fest but to each their own. I didn't pay for his ticket and I'm guessing neither did any of you so why would you give a fuck about how this guy wants to spend his time there?? Yeah, I don't get why anybody would have anything negative to say. This guy is talking about a game before noon, and the festival doesn't start until 1:00. I bet most people don't even get in the gate until after 3:00. This is coming from a guy that finds it extremely boring to watch other people play sports, especially on a tv screen.

Most mailpeople are just lazy. Seriously, I don't understand where the term "going postal" comes from. Their jobs require so little thought and effort, but they still make it complicated. I can't wait until Amazon takes over the mail system with their flying mail delivery robots, and the mail delivery people become completely obsolete.

USC added the lockers for Paradiso last year. They really should become a permanent fixture at the venue, if they are't already, because they are a great feature to have at an all day or multi-day event. They have enough shows where it is justified, and is probably even profitable.

I decided to go with a locker just to be safe. Funny to find that I have to buy a locker from USC events. Sasquatch should have been doing this a lot longer than a company that just started doing shows at the Gorge.
After some thought I decided to go with Wildhorse camping as well. I will feel much more comfortable and secure in that little oasis.
