You can find videos of his "The Wall" performances from years past on the interweb, and yes they do look like they'd be an all-time top-5 concert to see live due to the theatrics. My friend is shooting him (photographically) at the Vancouver show tonight. So very jealous.

I'm thinking some of us regulars need to put our heads together and create a thorough "read first" FAQ sticky so these kind of things don't keep repeating themselves for the next 6 months. Agreed. I'm willing to input.

Awesome. I love Tim and Eric. Dr. Steve Brule is my dad. For your health!
Oh, and I'm seeing Temper Trap at the Commodore tonight.

Nobody who has anything to do with the festival can hear you, but it doesn't matter because you don't seem to know what you are talking about. We don't want the extra 5000 people coming to hang out in the campground just to party. It causes overcrowding as well as health and safety issues. There are no camping passes, there are festival passes, which means you are paying for YOUR OWN ability to camp. If you have one person buy the 'discount pack' to get camping, then that one person is going to have access to the campground and you're not going to have anywhere to go when the show is over. The camping situation is perfectly clear, it's just different and people can't seem to wrap their heads around it. Lastly, this is a large-scale music festival and it is growing in popularity as well as in scope. Anticipate the price continuting to rise, every year. Anticipate them finding every way to get money out of you they possibly can. Anticipate taking it up the ass like a champ, or anticipate making other plans for Memorial Day Weekend, but please god please let the bitching about the camping passes end. This pretty much sums it up. Seriously, people: know what you're talking about. The camping details are written in (good enough) English on many websites (http://www.gorgecamping.com/, www.sasquatchfestival.com/#/gorge/camping) so just take a few minutes and read them. You might find answers to many of your questions. The wording is a little ambiguous at times, but the information is decipherable.

1. Radiohead 2. Pearl Jam 3. Talking Heads 4. The Pixies 5. Arcade Fire
Not necessarily in that order, and not necessarily at all times, but this is what I've come up with at the moment.

I hate to say it, but since the mainstage is boxed in now it does give light shows a whole different aspect. How about a retractable main stage backing? When it gets windy/rainy/dark they can put it up, but when conditions are nice and the sun is shining I think everyone would benefit from having it open. WHO'S WITH ME>!?!!11

oh well, obviously I don't care that much because I'm also posting here months before this board is very useful. I'm just going to keep pointing out how ridiculous peoples suggestions are and let you guys whine about it I like this approach.

As a big Arcade Fire fan I was actually excited to see the SRO last year and didn't feel like it was a half-assed attempt to satisfy all the AF fans out there who weren't going to get to see their favorite 7(+)-piece. I can see how it could have come across like that, though, and maybe I'm just being naive. If so: Adam Zacks got me good. As it turned out I was glued to the main stage for Temper Trap at the time so I missed SRO. Did anyone see them? How were they?

from Consequence of Sound -- "Wolf Parade's taking a break, except we are playing Sasquatch! in the gorge, so that's our one show next year," he told AUX. "I'm making another record with the Handsome Furs. Arlen [Thompson] from Wolf Parade's producing it again and Howard Bilerman going to work on it. And after this tour's over, I'm heading to Yugoslavia -- or ex-Yugoslavia -- with the Furs." I wish I had a dollar for every time someone broke this news on this forum.

Chromeo is a lot of fun, and even their DJ set at Sasquatch was great. I would love to see them again, but their concerts are getting a bit too pricey for what you get. I'd definitely see them again at Sasquatch though.
