Grant County is home to Sasquatch; Vancouver is home to Heroin overdoses. More like, Grant County is the home to the most beautiful outdoor concert venue in the world that people from all over swarm and shit on for weekends at a time, and Vancouver is the home to BC bud.

I think the floods of posts that followed the wheelchair photo and the hipster reservation comment were entertaining as hell to read. I'm only listing these two events because all the rest of my favs have already been mentioned.

Oregon has some of my favorite breweries, although I've never visited any of them. One of my favorites is Bridgeport. Their IPA is one of the best balanced I've ever had. For those like me who love IPAs it's not knock-your-socks-off hoppy, but I still recommend it. For those interested in the more hoppy varieties try their Hop Czar.

Did your due diligence... If he was practicing due diligence he would have known not to fuck with you. You do the "fucking with" around these parts.

"The Great Gig in the Sky" starts just as the tornado approaches, too. Might be my favorite Floyd song in part to this.

I love underdog movies. Shawshank Redemption This is a great film, no shame in admitting you like it. I think Tim Robbins is a great actor. Check him out in Arlington Road and The Hudsucker Proxy if you get the chance. The latter is a Coen Bros. film that is often overlooked and definitely worth watching.

Alright I'm sorry to say it, but they are most definitely raking a LOT more cash in this year. True. Think of all those campers who payed next to nothing to camp the last 10 years of sasquatch just by piling people into one rig. Now every camper is guaranteed to pay full price. False, unless you admit that "full price" this year is a fraction of what it has been before. Also, an extra day means more profits for the festival(from tickets, food, everything else). True. Keep in mind, I'm not bitching, I'm just saying the foo fighters alone isn't enough to satisfy my extra 70 dollars worth of entertainment. True, they will not be alone. There will be many other awesome bands playing on the Friday. but I'm obviously not worried about the lineup not meeting my expectations because this will be my fourth year in a row and Sasquatch hasn't failed me yet! The truest statement ever.

The rumors are most definitely true. The Dark Side of Oz and Laser Floyd are the two best things ever.

Lumpy, if you're a Buscemi fan, you have to check out Boardwalk Empire if you haven't already. It's amazing.

Grats! You pulled it off well. Hilarious title, too. I just hope knowIDyuh changes the " " part before I get there. Like, in five years. HG, you too made a valiant effort. You're up over 900 now, and something tells me if this was a "first to 1,100" contest you'd have it in the bag.

Good call with Terry Gilliam (although I still haven't seen Brazil.)
People seem to either love or hate P. T. Anderson. My girlfriend is a film major and she despises the guy. Punch Drunk Love was on TV a while back and I tried to watch it but I think it was spoiled by her constant WTFing. The score was abrasive and shit, that's one thing I do remember. I'd be willing to give it another go though. I loved There Will Be Blood, and I think I saw Magnolia when I was too young.

man Dennis Rodman is a freakshow. That nut-grabbing lunatic! Also, the Mail Man was awesome back in the day. Tokyo Police Club would be a good early afternoon mainstage band I've seen them a couple times and they're definitely fun. First time was on the side stage at Sasquatch a few years ago after their first album and they played all five of their songs. Second time was in England where the crowd was small but those who did show up were definitely into it.

The Coen Brothers, Wes Anderson, and David Lynch are my favorite directors. With all the Dude references on this forum I'm surprised no one has mentioned Joel and Ethan yet, but I guess everyone figured someone else would pull the trigger. The Big Lebowski is probably my favorite movie of all time, or at least I can say with confidence it is the single movie I've seen the most times. I watch it at least once annually with a group of people and it is always a ridiculous time. I feel bad for anyone who watches it for the first time with us, but that doesn't stop me from quoting the entire thing. Naturally we drink beers, white russians, and do a J when prompted. Always a good time.
My favorite David Lynch film is The Lost Highway, but I think that might be mostly because it was the first one I saw of his. What a twisted film, and what an awesome soundtrack! Trent Reznor and David Bowie did (almost) the entire thing. I'm not going to write a Gramma-style review, but I do recommend people checking out both the soundtrack and the movie. David Lynch is one crazy mofo and is usually an acquired taste, but I was an easy sell. His work ranges from slightly strange to shit-the-bed-and-turn-on-the-lights bizarre.
The Royal Tenenbaums is probably my favorite from Wes Anderson, but all his films are unbelievably clever, and his attention for detail does not go unnoticed by me. I love the way he frames his shots. He picks some great music for his films too. He works with the same group of actors a lot and I really like most of them. I pretty much hate everything Ben Stiller has done except when he's in Wes Anderson movies, though.
Oh, and the Christopher Guest films are all clever and entertaining.
