I would love to see Handsome Furs on the lineup.
That interview makes me excited. I wonder if "cool ideas" are lineup-related ideas or maybe something else. Either way I think we're in for a couple awesome surprises. Certainly better than Coachella's 10th festival where GV simply sold too many tickets.
And boo to Phoenix as a headliner, but yeah it's plausible. And I doubt they would literally bring Daft Punk, like, against their wills or something.

I think Phoenix has to be considered for the Monday night headliner, They have played almost every major festival in the world. They are big enough to headline( they co- headlined at lolla last year). They have never played Sasquatch. I could see hot chip or black keys leading in to them and who knows they might bring along their fellow robotic country men. i agree with everything you said here except the hot chip part (who are not even close to that famous). Phoenix would be a great monday headliner and I can't see them playing at any other position in the festival (maaaaaaybe as the sunday night semi double headliner but I doubt that). Black keys would probably sub-headline if they played (and I think they will)

I think they could sub headline or sub -sub headline, anyways , I would Take - hot chip into Black keys into Phoenix on Monday in a heart beat

I was going off the fact that they opened for lcd on this last tour and lcd was 3rd from the top last year at sasquatch. Either way I agree that that would be a great 123 combo

Either way I agree that that would be a great 123 combo I believed the tour they just did was a co-headline show. I saw some people bitching on LCD's FB because they didn't realize that sometime they played first and sometime Hot Chip played first.

So we are in agreement then on Monday.
I think QOTSA would make a great lead in to the Foos, and with the rumors of them touring together it makes sense.
From our educated guesses this is how the lineup looks so far.
Friday - wolf parade -QOTSA-Foo Fighters
Saturday-
Sunday-
Monday-Hot Chip-Black Keys-Phoenix.
Who do you think will be there on the other days?
It's got to something more that a wish list,
Foos, and wolf have been confirmed Queens have been rumored to tour with Foos Hot chip and phoenix fit Sasquatch "indie" label, plus they have played every major festival except Sasquatch. Black keys are rumored every year, they are touring and it has been a long time since they have been.
Let's see if this lineup is any thing lile the real one

Saturday - Arcade Fire Sunday - Portishead

Portishead makes sense. Someone on the coachella board said that Geoff Barrow said they weren't playing there. Maybe Adam Zacks will try to start a tradition with having a big name trip-hop/electronic headliner every year?
Thievery Corporation for Sasquatch 2012.

So no portis head, do you agree about Arcade Fire. That seems plausible, have been here 2 times, are now big enough to headline, they are touring, who would lead into them?

Hope that helps!" back to the drawing board.

Bummer about Portishead. Damn.
I have a feeling at least one headliner will have been someone we haven't discussed at all. Chemical Bros?
Could Iron and Wine sub? Grinderman or NC+Bad Seeds Sub? Cut Copy sub?

I'd lose my shit for the chems. I don't think it would happen though, cause they'd conflict with the late night act, who I'd assume would be another EDM act. Wouldn't make sense to have two going at once I'd think. Daft Punk would be the only exception to this rule, but it's not going to happen.
I don't think Iron & Wine are big enough to sub. Grinderman/Nick Cave definitely are. The Bad Seeds could headline imo. Cut Copy probably not.

Especially since Iron & Wine has a new album coming out soon.

I could see him headlining the Bigfoot, he's got enough material that he deserves more than 60-80 minutes.
And I too would lose my shit for the Chems.

I looked up Nick Cave, no plans on touring next year, I don't think they would headline.
seems unlikely.
Chem brothers are in Florida in March and in South america in early April.
They are rumored to go to Coachella. I don't know if they would hang out stateside until the end of May
A possibility thou.

Iron & Wine would make a great headliner for the Bigfoot stage, much like Bon Iver in 09.
I keep fucking forgetting about the Chemical Brothers! With all of the Daft Punk doubt, the Chemical Brothers would definitely make for an outstanding electronic set.
I also got myself wondering about Ryan Adams today. He has a new album out and has never played Sasquatch before. Not the biggest fan of his entire discography but I could see him filling a sub-headlining spot easily. Maybe even a Monday night headliner?

I'd be pretty shocked to see Ryan Adams there. He announced last year that we was quitting touring indefinitely due to hearing problems, and the "new album" is actually just a collection of material dating back three or four years.
That said, I would LOVE to see him there, saw him the last couple times he came through Seattle and they were pretty stellar shows.
