wow I8. Take it down a notch. I was simply giving examples of incredibly unlikely/impossible scenarios in which I would accept a "Nirvana Reunion"

While on stage, Dave Grohl will bite the head off of a small creature and use the blood to draw a pentagram. He will then at the stroke of midnight take a crash cymbal off the drumset and throw it as if it were a frisbee into the crowd (having learned to do so from Omar in 2008 amiright), decapitating a young blonde virgin. This will have completed the ritual and an exceptionaly emaciated-looking Cobain will rise once more to preform for the masses.
Pretty sure Courtney Love could have easily been fit in with the zombie Cobain part but thats too easy.

I think you're confusing a Foo Fighters show with a Gorgoroth show.

There's no fucking way this happens....everyone knows the george employees will pull the plug on anything going on on the main stage after midnight! ALL OF THE NEIGHBORS ARE TRYING TO SLEEP!!!

Location: Boise, ID Figures. You appear to be upset with me. As much as I hate you for being a Boize State fan, I think you've done well for yourself entering the board with a sense of humor, and with you guard up ready to fight. We need more people living in the NW who dig music here. Don't thank me, because I am as much of a ahole as most here, but welcome to the board. I like noobs.

And after April, it looks like they're doin a few festivals. God dammit Steve Wilson better come to Sasquatch.

In the famous lyrics by The Who: "I hope I die before I get old." In the immortal words of They Might Be Giants: "I hope that I get old before I die."

M83 is coming out with a new album this spring. I would love to see them at sasquatch (I was not there in 2009)

New Okkervil River single out in February, with a new album following sometime after (assumedly in the Spring) makes them a pretty likely candidate. Played the Bigfoot stage in 08, would make sense in like a late afternoon mainstage slot this time around.

Also, a new Handsome Furs album is supposedly due for Spring, and given the fact that they tour pretty extensively in support of new material (128 shows in 2009 alone) and that Dan Boeckner will already be there with Wolf Parade, I wouldn't be surprised to see them on the bill somewhere.

I see how this is plausible. But Practicing two shows worth of different material for two different bands in the same weekend is EXTREMELY difficult.

read the adam zacks interview from last year out of boredom. he mentions "2011 is the festival’s 10 year anniversary. We’ve been stockpiling a list of cool ideas with the intent of unleashing them next year." Which is good news, i guess. Later he's asked to list his favourite moments from past years and he mentions Kanye and Coldplay. Kanye's Obviously been discussed but no one's really mentioned Coldplay, who are apparently releasing a new album in 2011. Don't shoot the messenger.

Just my opinion on this, but I saw Coldplay at Pemberton Fest, and I thought they put on a really entertaining show (near the end of the show when I thought it was over, all the lights went out and all of a sudden they had run down the center barrier and were performing an impromptu set on the soundboard stage ). Not going to blast them from my car stereo, but I think their could be worse bands. Having said that I am pretty sure they sold out the Gorge on their own semi-recently.

I think Phoenix has to be considered for the Monday night headliner,
They have played almost every major festival in the world. They are big enough to headline( they co- headlined at lolla last year). They have never played Sasquatch. I could see hot chip or black keys leading in to them
and who knows they might bring along their fellow robotic country men.
