Ya on a personal experience level this is probably the happiest festival I ever had, but I think 2010 is my favorite Sasquatch and festival ever and this one is 2nd by a country mile. Other than missing some of the daytime sets because hot, old, and hungover I have no regrets about who or what I did or saw.

This was definitely one of, if not the absolute best Sasquatches ever in terms of people/friends. So many good vibes from so many good folks. I love getting weird with you all.

Also Gold camping saved my actual life at least 3 times per day and there’s no going back.

2010 was my favourite year as well! Thus was probably number 3 for me though after 2008.
I had a very different experience than years past with a larger focus on relaxing and seeing the bands I REALLY wanted to see, as opposed to years passed where I jam packed my schedule with as much as possible. Might be the fact that I'm getting old, or that I spent 8 fucking days at Disneyland for a family vacation right before Sasquatch!
This year I chilled at Wildhorse...went to the venue for a few shows and then went to chill some more and eat some food...then went back for the evening.
My biggest miss this year was Explosions in the Sky. I just couldn't make it through Modest Mouse, and there was not much left to watch so I headed home for a good night's rest.
Overall it was a great experience and one day I hope to make it back.

That Japanese Breakfast set had the biggest crowd I’ve seen at the Yeti since Foster the People in 2011. Has she blown up recently or something?

Also sorry for missing Rosensquatch all My group wanted to stop for lunch and then setting up camp took longer than expected.

That Japanese Breakfast set had the biggest crowd I’ve seen at the Yeti since Foster the People in 2011. Has she blown up recently or something? I was extremely surprised by how large that crowd was. Maybe just a lack of counter programming? I'm actually not huge into her music but I was at her set, so maybe that says something.

I caught the first four or five songs of David Byrne, and I think it's time I finally admit that I just don't really like the Talking Heads. I've been struggling with this for a while, and I certainly recognize their importance and magnitude of musical contributions, but they just don't do it for me, and his Coachella set didn't do anything to change my mind. For fans of his, I heard it was one of their favorite festival sets of all time, so please by all means make every effort you can to see him at Sasquatch. The man is an indisputable legend and I have nothing but respect for his music and legacy. It just isn't my thing, and I'm finally okay accepting it. Byrnesquatch > Brynechella by a billion miles. That was one of my favorite Sasquatch sets of all time and I'm so happy I was given a second chance to see him. Apparently I wasn't the only one with that Coachella opinion, because something was definitely off that night, but absolutely everything was so wonderful and so perfect about his set this weekend. #sasquatchmagic

Noname ended ~20 minutes early and there wasn't a whole lot else going on. Really enjoyed her set though.

The chips must have been pretty good this year if you were still waiting for bands to play yesterday.

Oh man I've needed to take a few days and percolate my thoughts on this weekend as I adjust back to reality.
I don't think I've spent so much of any festival literally with my mouth open and hands on my head, in a state of awe over the performances. I'm still trying to comprehend the Byrne-Iver combo, Slowdive, and TVOTR to name a few. We got a Modest Mouse set where Isaac Brock looked like he gave a shit about performing? Berninger yelling about the moon getting canceled? I think this is my first Sasquatch where I was in the pit for each headliner as well. My group was great, all of our neighbors were fun, each day had a solid 12 hours of incredibly talented and interesting bands. This entire weekend felt like a golden era Sasquatch.
It was a ton of fun meeting some of you boardies as well! Feels good to be confident about the future for Sasquatch, can't wait for next year.

Meeting TBRenegade felt like that scene in Infinity War, I was Dr Strange and he was Peter Parker. He recognized me as Professor Pancakes from the wedding and when I asked what his name was, he said "I'm [real name redacted]" and then was like "Oh, are we doing the fake name thing? I'm TBRenegade." One of my favorite moments from the weekend.

Also, cornchips, if that really was you that Pea pointed out, sorry for just laughing in disbelief and not actually talking to you. I was just too blown away by how stereotypically you you looked and I didn't really believe Pea that you were really you. I thought you might have been bassallnight.
