We finally have a lineup worth talking about again! So let’s do just that. Tell us who you’re excited to see. That great new artist you just discovered? Who is David Byrne? Why should I care? What’s the correct way to pronounce Bon Iver? Let the shitposting lineup discussion commence!

so i'm not super into bon iver atm but that could change. he sounds like someone that is better live. what is the vibe going to be like in the pit dancing and rocking out or swaying. same for the national. what are they like live basically

While shuffling the Spotify playlist for this year’s iteration I’ve found myself loving Gang of Youths and TV on the Radio! Both are groups that I’ve known but never really given much attention to or have only heard one song by. They’re incredible and after spending quite a few hours listening I’ve only skipped two songs actively.

Matt Berninger wilds out for his live performances. Protect your head if he stage dives in your direction.

Love their records but they are one of the few bands I have actually left their show because it sounded so shitty. It was a long time ago at The Moore. I have heard they aren't shitty live so it must have just been that certain night. Redemption time

I haven't seen them since that would have required going to CHBP or DTHB, so they are near the top of my list.

I have never watched all of the headliners at a festival. Ever. This will be a first, and I plan to watch them all from as close as possible.

I plan on seeing 2/3 of the headliners this year. Can't decide on location yet. Probably a game time decision.

i've started to fall in love with shakey graves, no name, and bread and butter DO NOT miss Shakey Graves. In all of my concertgoing, seeing him in Boise remains my favorite concert experience ever. He has so much energy and really brings his recorded stuff to live, and differently every time. I even got a Shakey Graves tattoo ~6 months after seeing him. Everyone go to this set.

Some of my findings over the few days that I did not know of are as follows: 1. Oliver- is going to be a pretty epic electronic set. Will be a great dance fest (corn chips recommended). 2. Tase Sultana- this gal is going to rock so hard, can't wait to see her live. I wish this lineup was a tad heavier on female talent, but I will shut up on complaining on this lineup because I love it so much. 3. Tokimonsta- One of my favorite finds to this point, can't believe I had never heard before. 4. Rostam- such a talent, one dude playing big time sounds. 5. Too many Zooz- I think these guys will surprise people when they see them live. Brass instruments will rock this entire set.. so pumped! 6. Magic Sword- Sounds like something out of the original Halloween movie soundtrack but should be a nice daytime tent dance set. 7. Japanese Breakfast- Such a crisp voice, looking forward to seeing her jam.
There are many more, just a few of my highlight to this point, is it memorial day weekend yet??!!!
