"No lineup yet, but the music they've been playing between bands could be a clue: MGMT, Band of Horses, LCD Soundsystem, Vampire Weekend"

I don't understand the rumor behind Rise Against, other than they are playing Bonarroo (a much "wider range" festival) and they don't have scheduled shows for Sasquatch dates...

Maybe. Although I'm not quite buying it. KOL has a bigger discography than MGMT and Vampire Weekend. Would they really give a band that has two albums - MGMT or Vampire Weekend, a headlining spot? Phoenix has a big enough catalogue, but MGMT has a 40 minute album and a 9-song album coming out. I don't even know if they have a 1.5 to 2 hour set, unless they play all of their songs and a couple covers. I hope all these bands are there as sub- or sub-sub-headliners and we get a truly stacked Sasquatch!. Like Coren said, if they were booked before they got the #1 album they are probably sub-sub-headliners. Not to disagree that MGMT isn't big enough to headline, but they do have more material than just one album. They have a couple EPs and a "leaked" album. Yes, they re-use or otherwise re-mix a lot of the same material, but that's pretty much them in a nutshell anyways. If they do end up at Sasq, I'd rather see them on Wookie, but doubt it. On a related note, I was at All Points West last year and watched them play a couple of songs, but they didn't sound great. I like their music, but I find it (among all electronica) doesn't always translate well to expansive outdoor ampitheatres...the National on the other hand... If you're referring to MGMT's "leaked album" on all the bit torrent sites, it's a fake. It's not MGMT, it's some other band that wants MGMT fans to listen to their music.

Here are a few bands to add to the rumors... On tour with Nada Surf Josiah Wolf The Donkeys On tour with Why? Telekinesis I've never heard of any of these supporting bands, so if they're playing, I am assuming they'd be on the Yeti stage. Josiah Wolf is the drummer of Why? just FYI

I like the new Yeasayer album, indeed very catchy, but still like All Hours Cymbals better. Odd Blood kind of reminds me of Duran Duran for some reason. "Tightrope" on Dark Was The Night really is a great song I also like Charlotte Gainsbourg -IRM. There's just something about a girl singing in French (half the time)... and it's not SO mellow that it puts me to sleep (Beach House).
