Is it just me or did this board used to be a lot more active? I mean I know it's the Sasquatch 'off-season' but seriously I could check once a day and read two new posts.
you guys scare everyone away?

So if they set up a separate price saving presale for each weekend, would you fellow festival addicts buy passes for both without seeing the lineup for either?

This is pretty random, but I kind of want to go to Bumbershoot either tomorrow or Monday. I don't have a ticket, but sure I could get my hands on one if I wanted (looks like they aren't even sold out according to the website, but if they are I'll buy a scalped ticket). My friends are being super lame and don't want to go. I live in Vancouver, and although I'm sure I would still enjoy the music on my own, I would much prefer having some people to hang out with. I've never been to Bumbershoot before, so I don't really know what it's like, but the lineup is decent enough.
I'm kind of on the fence, but if any of you people going on here lookin to meet up send me a PM. Never met up with anyone from a forum before, but you all seem like good people.
Thanks!

I can definately see them doing something like $350 for 1 festival / $600-650 for both festivals (regular sale). Maybe a bit cheaper if you are purchasing pre-sale (before the line-ups come out)

They have to sell twice as many tickets and there is one less day... I think tickets will go up in price in the day by day cost but I would be absolutely shocked if they didn't drop a bit overall. They would either have an amazing lineup or an incredible amount of hubris to do that. I think that if the format for 2013 was kept for 2014 the ticket prices would have gone up again. I mean why wouldn't they, they sold out in 90 minutes and caused a panic which made people purchase tickets for $450+. So, keeping the price the same as last year is an effective price drop from what it would have been. I think they could sell out both festivals at $350 (not in 90 minutes, but eventually) so what's to stop them from doing that. $290 seems like very very wishful thinking to me, but I hope I'm wrong.

I don't see how ticket prices wouldn't drop at least a little bit. I doubt they'll drop 80 bucks but I'd expect them to fall slightly under 300. I would guess that they would be exactly the same as this year. I mean they sold out in 90 minutes and plently of people bought scalped tickets for $450 plus. I don't think they would have any problem selling tickets at $350 again. There is not much question in my mind that the lineups will be slightly diluted. That being said, selling twice as many tickets at (I'm guessing) the same price as last year, they should be able to land one or two extra big names. Not to mention that fact that Sasquatch is riddled with conflicts every year, so you can't see all of the 'deeper' lineup anyway. My first reaction was not a good one, I like my Sasquatch just the way it is now, but the reality is I will probably just go to both.

Usually I'm all about the lists but this year Sigur Ros was better than everything else combined.
I had multiple people come up and ask me for molly during their set even though I was completely sober. HIGH ON LIFE MOTHERFUCKERS.
Truly incredible performance.

I don't mind Empire of the Sun, but I'm having trouble visualizing a glowpocalypse during their set. Can someone convince me otherwise? Traditionally, the glowpocalypse has taken place during the closing set at the bigfoot on saturday so that the most people possible could participate...Except last year when there were two, one during Pretty Lights on friday and one during Feed Me the next night... Yeah I thought the Feed Me one was much better, it was more just the musical style of Empire of the Sun is not exactly the 'wait for the drop' type that you usually associate with the glopacalypse.

On a separate note, I do have a question for anyone who remembers what premier was like last year. My memory is a bit foggy. Does anyone remember if they physically put the wristbands on you for premier when you drive through, or do you have to wait in a line to get them with your ticket?
I'm asking because we have friends arriving later who would like to split the cost of my premier pass. They would fit into my car only they are arriving late Friday night. Does anyone have experience trying to score extra permier wristbands for friends that haven't arrived yet? If they just hand them to the driver when you drive in I was thinking about trying to convince a couple randoms to fill the seats out of Sasquatch good will.

My 2c on premier camping (camped District 9 three times and premier once):
I only went premier last year because my friends wanted to. In my mind the shuttle/shower would be out weighed by meeting less people and paying more.
After my experience, in my opinion you definately get what you pay for. Mostly the space and the shuttle sold me. I had one shower last year with almost no line, but I don't really care too much about that, it was the first shower I've had at Sasquatch ever. We had a bunch of vehicles and just had so much more space than regular camping to play camp games etc.
That said, for anyone new to Sasquatch, it's definately not necessary by any means. Unless you really really hate camping and noise you don't NEED premier. It's just nice. I think what they charge is fair. It's not a rip-off at all. You just need to decide for yourself if it's worth it for you to get those perks.

Damn Pea, that one is awesome. Exactly what I am looking for. I guess if you found that online there is no way to get the file in its original resolution?
Maybe that is the original resolution?

Aaaaaand done. It looks like a bunch of the ones I reported last time were taken down. BAM. Operation flood the market with fake tickets at or below face value to commence soon. I've been doing this too! The first part that is. I could see 'Operation Flood the Market' being annoying to people actually trying to buy tickets, but I see your angle.

The latest craigslist Seattle ad: seattle.craigslist.org/see/tix/3760003722.htmlFor when it inevitable gets removed, here's the quote. "Hi, I'm a guy that has a four day Sasquatch wristband with camping all nights included. I'm not looking to sell my tickets as much as I am looking for a trade of services. So if you are a female who really wants to go but can't afford it I'm willing to trade the Sasquatch wristband for the right trade offer. I'm just looking to have some fun instead of getting just cash, but I'm also a normal person, just open minded and wanted to try this out. Let me know if your interested." Sketchy to say the least...

I suppose it can't hurt to throw my name on here just in case.
I am one of the many refreshing craigslist / stubhub etc. daily.
Also looking for 1 premier camping pass.
Thanks
