Well, I missed the pre-sale (so fast!), but I plan on going Weekend 1. If anyone has an extra, let me know. Otherwise, I'll test my fate when the rest go on sale.

My next highly anticipated show is Black Moth Super Rainbow, next Wednesday at Holocene. This is such perfect summer music to me. Maybe it will bring us some warmer weather.

Considering catching Washed Out after the Sounders match tonight. That could make for some chill vibes after a rowdy evening. Hmmm What did you think? I was a little disappointed in the Portland show. Sound is usually pretty good at Doug Fir, but the vocals were muddled at best and inaudible at worst. The band itself seemed a little disjointed. I was hoping they'd continue to mature since last Sasquatch (although it might be a different group now). Still had fun though.

Thomas is such a fucking clown, god I hate that guy. Come on Canucks, we can do this. My hometown Kamloops Blazers came back from 0-3 and are in game 7 tonight in Portland...it can be done! Hate to pour salt, but your rally was shutout in Game 7 by the Mac. Go Winterhawks!

I was at the record store today and was going to buy an album by St. Vincent to familiarize myself with her for Sasquatch. They had two albums and I know nothing about her. Wanted to ask the boards opinion on which one to pickup next time in there: Marry Me or Actor. Thanks a lot! You need to find yo'self a copy of Strange Mercy, stat. WORD. I love Actor, but Strange Mercy is wonderfulness.

What the fucks, I come back from the best camping trip of my life and the fucking schedules up?!?! It's not even early May. Life just keeps dishing me the sweetest of treats. Upon first, second, and third glance, my schedule looks like this: Friday: STRFKR (thanks, Souly)->EitS->Pretty Lights I would be bummed about the Beats Antique conflict, but I'm seeing them at Coachella. Obviously uber stoked for a full hour of Explosions into a full-on fucking glowpocalypse. May literally have to run, and that is a true rarity for me. Saturday: Todd Barry->Kurt Vile->Com Truise->Unknown Mortal Orchestra (thanks, FD)->Purity Ring->Tune-yards->St. Vincent->Jack White->The Roots Holy shit, that's a lot of different styles of music (and laughter) in one day. Skipping The Shins will be a tough blow but we all know St. Vincent will deliver the goods. Sunday: The War On Drugs->Beat Connection->Tycho->Wild Flag->Zola Jesus->Beirut->Little Dragon->Bon Iver->Feed Me As HG said, I too am very excited to see Beirut in that chunky sub-head slot at sunset. Gorgeous. Monday: Conflicts were mere inconveniences until Monday. Firstly, a big fat serious fuck you for scheduling Cass McCombs vs. Cloud Cult vs. CYHSY. Cass takes the cake for me, but I really wanted to see Cloud Cult, and I dig CYHSY live quite a bit. But seriously, no cake during Cass please. That would be weird in addition to shitty. Cass McCombs->The Joy Formidable->Awesome Tapes From Africa->Feist->John Reilly->(this is where things get super-duper-fucked) first half of Spiritualized->all of Tenacious D->most of Mogwai->last 2/3 of Beck. Those Monday night overlaps are going to be brutal, but I'm fairly confident in my plan. I wish I could see the beginning of Beck's set, especially if he does the acoustic/electric split; as I've been deeply submersed in Sea Change as of late. Mogwai is just too much of a powerhouse to miss, though. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE, GUYZ. I'm supposed to be getting ready for Coachella but all I can think about is Sasquatch. Saaaaasssssqqqqquuuuaaaattttccccchhhh!!! Not sure if this helps your cause, but Cass McCombs has a show in Portland (@mississippi Studios) Wed the 30th. You could always take the long route to the Gorge.

What the hell is with the St Vincent/Shins conflicts?
When I saw this conflict at Coachella, I thought, "well I'm definitely going to Sasquatch too"
And then I come here to find the EXACT SAME CONFLICT!
Cruel, cruel world

I suppose I need to give the new Air album a more undivided listen. I was too busy doing other things while listening to it the only times I heard it. Its different for them. I wish they'd do more soundtracks. I loved the Virgin Suicides score too.

After watching Hugo (in which Le Voyage Dans La Lune plays a big part) I'm tempted to track down the movie and watch it with the album I believe the CD release as well as a download from Amazon will come with the complete film (colorized) with the new soundtrack appropriately synched. The film looks great. It made me want to go see the documentary about this project at PIFF, but I couldn't make it.

I don't have a camping pass either. Plan is to find a carpool and share the cost of one + gas & goodies. Or find someone with a pass and split the cost of a rental too. *fingers crossed*

well if we're gonna talk about the new odd future song +great beat +Hodgy continues to improve as a rapper +Tyler's flow is strong -Domo still sucks -video is as random as you'd expect -Tyler's lyrics are really bad and he's lost some of the urgency which made him exciting I agree with all your points, but I was talking about the new Earl Sweatshirt track "Home".

I have no frame of reference for their prime, but I enjoyed MM last year too. I'm not their biggest fan, but I thought it was a good set.
