That's too bad. But that's cool that you are going to the Throne show. It took some time for The Sheepdogs album to grow on me but now I love it. Good to hear they're good live. They seem to fit the opening slot for a Kings of Leon show to a T. I checked out some of their live footage and they look fucking stellar.

That show kicked ass. Pretty impressive production. Despite the holiday theme, they are pretty talented musicians, and make the music listenable. It started out slow. I was kind of starting to feel disappointed, then they just blew me away.

Every time they played here I debated going, but never followed through. That video was a game changer and they look like they are not to be missed. |

Any Vancouverites brave the rain yesterday for the free concert? I ended up making the last minute decision to go to the Zolas and Hey Ocean. I forgot how happy those bands live shows make me. And Hey Ocean was selling their new CD by donation so I got to meet the guitarist. I know, I'm special.

So Prince....holy shit. It completely exceeded my sky high expectations. Unreal show. Played for about 2 and a half hours with like 4 or 5 encores. The stage is amazing, he sounded amazing and seeing that little dude wail on his guitar was incredible.
If you get a chance to see him on this tour, DO IT. Super excited to see him again in Calgary.

I don't have any more shows planned until Coachella at this moment. I want to see Blind Pilot next week so bad but I just don't feel like going to a show alone right now and have no friends into them. Waahhhhhh
