Did everyone in the NW completely ignore that Prince is playing in Tacoma in December? Mufucking Prince! No one is going? I might be. I'm going to be in Seattle anyway, so might as well grab the $20 tickets and just find an empty seat in the good section. |

Americans can probably ignore the following:
With the Grey Cup this weekend, there's a street festival with some pretty decent free concerts happening around BC Place. I think I'm gonna go down (if it doesn't rain) to check out Rococode, Guilty About Girls, and Bend Sinister on Friday, and The Belle Game, The Matinee, The Zolas, Hey Ocean! and Said the Whale on Saturday.
Any of you other Vancouverites planning on checking out any of the Grey Cup stuff?

The Jewish Elvis himself, Neil God Damn Diamond is doing a cross Canada tour next year. Hitting Calgary in July.
Ha ha, I'm going to take my Mom and G-ma, but not gonna lie I'm pretty excited to see him myself.

The Dudes Christmas show is happening again at Republik, December 22nd. Last year was a great time, I'll definitely be back.
Also, do any of you Edmonton folk know if Freezing Man is going to be back? A group of us came up last year and had an amazing time, but I haven't heard anything about them putting it on again.

The Dudes are so much fun live, you should definitely check them out.
The Sheepdogs is the same night as The Watch the Throne show in Vancouver, so I have to miss it. They were great opening up for Kings of Leon though, I would really like to see them again.
