RIP The Replacements (again) I should have really appreciated what was apparently their last show more then....oops. You mean covering your ears and having a sour face isn't how you appreciate shows? The be fair it was pretty bad, the one in Barcelona was more put together (not like that's saying much, their shows are generally a bit of a mess). The last one was particularly bad. The sound was way too loud for most of it, they even admitted they didn't soundcheck and got drunk at the hotel instead. The crowd went from a pretty decent size to one of the smallest I saw at the main by the end of it. Other than Sun Kil Moon there wasn't even much else going on, so I think people just left because they didn't like it. Ahh well, saw a potential piece of history I guess. Until the decided to reunite again.

The whole world is burning around me. My eyes are stinging and my lungs hurt. Haven't seen the sky in days. My shit is packed I case I have to leave at a moment's notice. Oh, and now the wind is blowing 40-50 miles per hour. I really hate living here.

Day after lineup and I'm in a meeting all day and can't listen to music. Fate worse than death.

I was 10 or 11 when I started really getting into music in a meaningful way. Living in rural Colorado at the time made it difficult to experience much of what was going on in current music except for a couple of AM radio stations that I could listen to at night when the radio waves were more powerful. Once a week though, I was able to stay up late and watch music on TV. The last couple of days reminded me of those times, and praise be to the all powerful internet, I found this. Being brought up in a pretty strict church going household, I always felt like I was sinning when I watched the show. Thank god for sinning, and this is one I remember being especially sinful. Enjoy. Sucks getting old and dying. RIP Ziggy

What makes me kick rocks today? When someone you've known for years freaks out over the suggestion of camping at Wild Horse, then proceeds to throw a tantrum and when you stand up for yourself cries like a child. Complains about how you're treating him badly. After you fed him numerous chips for his birthday, helped him travel a thousand or so miles to go see his favorite band. Then continues to be a hateful asshole.

It's very shitty, but I'm grateful to have a wonderful wife that takes good care of me, so I can at least stay afloat in the meantime. That money was supposed to go to rent, etc. Rabble rabble.

Somebody obained my bank account info and stole $1000 from me. Coooooooooool Most banks are pretty good about reimbursing any losses when this happens. They should help track down the source of the problem, and they definitely don't want word to get out the security breach could have been their fault.

Yea I'm not so much worried about the money, just the length of time I'll potentially be without it. In the past (this has happened before) they've been able to immediately void the transactions and put the money back into my account, but this situation appears to be more complicated and could take more than two weeks to resolve.

Ouch, that really sucks. I can only imagine how that would affect me right now. Not to mention the extra time and cost of throwing off my shitty modern routine of paying off debt and bills.

I'm curious to see what this "proof" is that his wife has that will exonerate him. This thing is going to get a lot messier before any truth comes out. The whole thing is awful and I feel awful.

The thing is even if there actually is "proof" that it's a lie, spearheading a witch hunt on social media is not an act of an innocent man. I'm 100% positive we'll never get the full story at this point.
