I am likely in the minority here, but I would like to see Blink 182 on there. I think they were my favourite band in the 90s (remember I was 12 at the time)

I agree thet Nas should be on there. He had one ok album, and the great "Illmatic." That's a one hot album every ten year average. And that's so LAAAAME, he needs to switch up his flow, his shit's garbage, but he tries to kick knowledge.

hmm maybe I'm misreading the rules and this is on purpose but it seems like bands like Radiohead are missing? Some other less obvious examples would be Pavement, Guided by Voices, built to spill, etc.

(already added): blur, jeff buckley, + (will add): foo fighters, nas, black crowes, ben folds five = 6.
Ten to go.
personally i hate: blink 182, sublime, 311, korn, & incubus. i can't imagine any of those bands really excelling in this tournament, but if you guys really want any of them included, speak up. if any of those bands get at least three YES votes, i'll include them.
Blink's already got one YES.

I would say yes to Blink 182. I definitely have a soft spot for them. Pretty sure I'm around the same age as Davers and they were definitely one of the biggest bands for me growing up.

Thanks for doing this Stamper by the way, this is awesome.
One question though, are we only voting on certain bands output in the 90's and not their entire catalogue? For example, if I vote U2 am I only considering Acthung Baby and Zooropa...or does War and Joshua Tree count as well.

Some other less obvious examples would be Pavement, Guided by Voices, built to spill, etc. i was wondering if anyone was gonna notice Radiohead 'mysteriously' missing from the list as for pavement, guided by voices, built to spill, dinosaur jr, etc... i actually had a 'Pitchfork 90s' group that i deleted because I couldn't imagine any of those bands really toppling the other 64 more known acts already listed after their initial group round. still, it's not too late to add them back.

Cbats makes a great point, why isn't radiohead on here? 2 of the best 90s albums from those guys. You could also say MM even though their best album (IMO) came out in 2000.
I was going to say Dre only had 1 album in the 90s so Nas has him beat in that regard, but wiki tells me that the cronic 2001 came out in 1999? What???
I will also admit to liking sublime, I think 40 oz to freedom and their self titled are great album, even though them as a band and most of their fans sorta bug me.

I know I've already made a suggestion but I think that Wu-Tang Clan should be in the Hip Hop/Rap group.
I'm also all for the Pavement, Built to Spill, GBV and Dinosaur Jr. group.

Of course I'm the one that notices that you removed the pitchfork category. I think they might do better than you think but who knows.
I'm voting a big no on all those bands you excluded cause you hate them except maybe let sublime in just so I can vote against them. Wu-Tang seems like an obvious add though. Don't add radiohead, it'd be boring to see them trounce everyone

Also I would add Elliott Smith

Wait is this Radiohead (or lack there of) issue going to get addressed or not? Leaving off one of the most influential bands of our generation would be a little strange.

Seeing that Radiohead is the obvious choice to win this whole tournament, I fully intended to give Radiohead a bye until someone actually noticed they were missing. (kinda like a DVD easter egg)
Since Cbats noticed Radiohead's omission before the competition even started, (way to go Cbats, you're the Charlie Bucket of this tournament!) they'll only receive a first-round bye.

if we do a Best Song of 90s Tournament 'Walk on the Ocean' 'Fall Down' and 'In the Meantime' will all make the cut... promise.
