These final two Premiership games are going to be insane! Have a look at the four teams vying for 3rd and 4th place... What's craziest here is... Should Chelsea finish in 5th or 6th overall (because they probably won't finish in 4th) but win the 2012 Champions League final against Bayern Munich, they'll be given the Premiership's 4th 2013 Champions League spot - essentially, booting the team that finishes 4th overall out of the 2013 Champions League campaign. Shitty. Of course, if they lose the Final, then none of it really matters. Naturally, here's how I want things to play out... 1. Arsenal win their next two games, securing the top three spot. 2. Tottenham loses their next two games... and then every game they ever play thereafter. 3. Newcastle ties one and loses the other, giving Newcastle the top four spot. 4. Chelsea loses the Champions League final... and then please see #2. That would be a perfect finish. Who would you rather see take the top spot? I am going for Man City myself. I love to hate Man U for no good reason Normally, I would be all in favor of any team not named Man Utd winning it all - but seeing as the other team in discussion is Man City, I just can't bring myself to be okay with City winning it. Their ownership is almost as more irritating greedy than Chelsea's. Man Utd winning it all is pretty fucking annoying but Man City winning the premiership is just bad for the game. In my opinion at least. Also... Fuck Samir Na$ri.

Sounders game tonight totally slipped off of the radar for me. What a good surprise! Loving the fact that they have so many games to play this month. I also was worried about it until last weekend. Our depth is pretty damn impressive. Go Sounders!

Mid-week matches are such a treat! Dallas is pretty depleted too, so I'm feeling good about this one.

Seriously! It will be the most important match of the entire season thus far. And hey, if it ends up going poorly for the Sounders we can always bail and walk next door to get our dance on earlier!

Hahaha! No wonder why we rarely sign big players - that's the pocket he keeps Arsenal's wallet.
I also enjoy the fact that this has been your only contribution in the history of this thread.

I didn't think the readers of the "Memes..." thread would appreciate it as much. And I'll try to chirp up a bit more.

ARSENAL managed to hold on and finish in 3rd place overall!!!!!!
It really does amaze me how despite our absolutely dreadful start to the season, losing Clichy, Nasri and Fabregas to transfers, losing Wilshire all season to injury, being thrashed by United 8-2, losing Sagna for a couple months due to a broken leg, and then losing both Arteta and Walcott for the final month of the season we were still able to scratch and crawl and hold on to 3rd place and manage to find ourselves with a guaranteed spot in the champions league for next season.
Well done Gunners!
Still... If not for Robin van Persie, our season would have been over before it even began. Hopefully we can work out an extension to his contract this summer.
