Radiohead - OK Computer OKNOTOK (I don't want to hear any shit about release dates or reissues or anything. It belongs on the fucking list and you fucking know it.) Also: Com Truise - Iterations ("It's like if Tycho was actually good." - Pea) Vince Staples - Big Fish Theory (I honestly wasn't feeling this one as much as I hoped I would at first; I felt like it needed more Vince, if that makes sense. But it has dolphinately grown on me with repeated listens.) Those three previously unreleased tracks make me feel like I've discovered Radiohead for the first time. I'm blown away by them and that album has never sounded so good.

Both of the songs released are making me think the same thing. Also, please add: EX EYE - S/T AND Remove: Strand of Oaks Thanks! How was that EX EYE show? !!!! It was really cool...And LOUD! So so loud. He played his heart out and it was quite spectacular to see him in a very small bar setting. There was maybe 100 people there. The guy is a genius regardless of who he's playing with. The rest of the band held their own as well. Do not miss them of they come back.

You guys see the Easy Street Meet and Greet schedule?? "Mike McCready and Co" are doing a signing on Saturday.... Maybe a secret set? This probably has something to do with the book signing stuff he's doing in the next couple of weeks. At least I hope this all since I'm not there this weekend! There's zero chatter on the Pearl Jam forum so I doubt the rest of the band will be there, otherwise they'd be all over it.

Given the passing of Chris Cornell the other night it has been a very hard and emotional couple of days. Soundgarden was one of the first bands I got into during the 90's Seattle boom, and throughout my high school years I spent a large amount of time listening to their music to get by. He was an amazing vocalist and will be truly missed by myself. I was talking to a couple of people and they just couldn't comprehend how someone I never met could impact me so much...fuck them. I have been seeking solace through music and message board forums. Luckily I was fortunate enough to see him on his first solo tour, as well as Soundgarden on their original Superunknown tour.
RIP CHRIS

I'm surprised that both Arkell's and July Talk are on the Yeti. Thought for sure they would have been on the Bigfoot.
Arkell's are amazing live and put on a really fun and energetic show. Try not to miss them.
July Talk are good as well, but their shtick gets old pretty fast. Maybe I've seen them too many times.
That's my two cents.
ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!

Oh yeah! Managed to score two tickets to The National in Vancouver on the Saturday night!!! Not the best seats (Balcony LC), but at least now I will have a chance to see them doing their own show instead of a festival show.
