phoenix, mew, broken bells, the dead weather, born ruffians, plants and animals, flips all not on the list. the lineup is really good and deep. but those were my big omissions im guessing a few more will be added as a couple drop, as per usual. please flaming lips.

Rise Against just added another festival date stateside, this time Rock on the Range in Ohio. They're doing Bonnarroo as well, but a bunch of European festivals, with that in the middle, so at least three plane flights hauling all their gear around (from the states to Denmark, then from Germany to Tennessee, then Tennessee to Sweden) - given that they're doing a load of festivals, that right now they have about a 9 day gap in their schedule, and they haven't played the area since July..I guess it's possible, certainly more likely than before. Apparently they're also doing Vive Latino in April, so another festival. If they don't do Sasquatch I really think Bumbershoot might be their destination over here. If they did play, do yall see them headlining? does not seem like a rise against scene. theyre more warped tour. bumbershoot would be far more fitting.

So, the End does this thing, discovery of the day with harms, right? Tonight, he had on that god awful Ruby Soho cover by Vampire weekend. Not important. What was important is that he said Vampire Weekend is announcing a show in Seattle sometime next week. Maybe that means Sasquatch, maybe that means a separate date, maybe both, I don't know. probably sasquatch when they announce the full lineup monday night at the 'quatch pre show.

gogol bordello has a curious break in their european tour on 5/27 through 6/1. though i think they were there last year so probably unlikely plus runnin through europe to pop over to the states for a show doesnt make too much sense but other bands are doing it.

im going to again mention the possible rumor of the john butler trio being there. with their tour dates listed they go as far west as california then head to europe ending europe dates on May 1st with a suspect gap of no shows until Wakarusa June 6th and Bonnaroo June 13th. not to mention a new album coming. im going with 80 percent being there.

The Bassnectar (Playing Coachella and Bonnaroo, no other dates between 5/1 and 6/11.) Not that it TOTALLY rules them out, but Bassnecter IS playing Summer Camp Music Festival in IL, which is May 28-30. though i have seen in a couple places that their specific date is may 29th. again speculative due to a schedule not set in stone. but the festival appearances helps.

After seeing that lineup I wouldn't be displeased at all if Sasquatch was a "Mini-Coachella" this year. That lineup is badass through and through. It will be interesting though to see which of those bands do cross over and sort of do the festival tour over the summer. as i posted in other thread MGMT is so far faling under festival tourers. not that they dont own us for not being there last year. i'd be okay with them.
