I tweeted at Snack's asking if there would be any late EDM adds and he said "unlikely, but maybe" ... Pretty surprising, considering the lack of any big EDM names on the bill currently. This is a total shot in the dark but maybe they've gone away from EDM acts due to Paradiso being there a month later and it now being a big deal.

Divine Fits is a rock band. I was gonna say.. lol Toro y Moi wasn't exactly Electronic either. So there was some components of electronics within their tunes but yeah certainly not to the extent of SMD. Laidback Luke on the other hand...

I feel like a pretty small portion of the artists were announced. That poster doesn't look like very many artists to me. Only 117 according to someone's earlier calculation. By May last year there was 132 announced.

I am kind of disappointed in the lack of live electronic acts, like Beardyman last year, or Massive Attack or Simian Mobile Disco. I will definitely check out Presets, Matthew Dear and T.E.E.T. Also wish there was at least 1 big comedy act. Some good names in there but they're all small time. Sorry no Dane Cook. Also, you should really explore the lineup before saying such foolishness about the electric acts. take Toro y Moi, The Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Holy Ghost!, and Divine Fits for starters.

Hahaha I just woke up and saw the lineup poster. Sigur Ros and PRIMUS??? You guys must have had your heads explode upon hearing those two. Amazing lineup again save for the Mumford headlining slot. Would be just as happy with a decapitated Sasquatch on the poster.

I am having a hard time understanding the massive husbands bulge you people have over Sigur Ross. See them live sometime, I dare you. Intense amount of energy and talent on one stage.

Were any comedy acts released? I don't see any that I know. Then you don't know comedy. Check the poster.

I would say the Avett Brothers are a likely addition to Sasquatch, only real evidence i have is them being there before (been a while) and them having a 6 day gap in their tour from May 25th to the 31st.
Also just for shits and that they're on the festival circuit(ish) and slightly of my own wishful thinking: STS9, Amon Tobin ISAM(late night), Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Zeds Dead, Gramatik, and Deer Tick

Very cool! Planners for...Sasquatch? I like Alt-J a lot. Alt-J are playing Seattle on April 6th during an extensive US tour that ends after Coachella. They do have to come back to the US for the Governors Ball, but I don't think they'll be at Sasquatch this year. www.stgpresents.org/tickets/by-month/eventdetail/482/-/alt-jSorry, but if any band were to break the Santa Clause, it would be bands that play at the Neptune close to Sasquatch. This has been tested.

So I spent the better part of my day listening to Sigur Ros so as to prepare myself. How in the nine hells does this fit in at a festival? 40,000 people with their party face on just doesn't seem befitting of a band that plays classical music badly(whatever that's what it sounds like). Are people taking their mom to the opera house or is this a fucking party? I can already feel myself having a strong acquaintance with Banana, Bigfoot, and Yeti. Which is fine, that's how 2011 was. yeah because bonny bear last year was totally for people with their party faces on...

OH MY LURD! I totally missed that one with Stormy and Too Far! Priceless. I was so excited to see that picture. My friend brought that back one night, and the cd was our drunken jam. It then mistakenly (kind of) got lit on fire, I was devastated. But I found a pristine copy only the last day and took the shit home; totally reading it soon. my camp too had a problem in keeping fire away from Too Far! and its delicate paper pages

speaking of that wagon train into the campground friday afternoon, was anyone behind the RV that tried to pull a U'ey and ended up getting stuck deep into the depths of the side road sands while multitudes of people emerged from there cars to push the immovable rock approximately zero point zero inches?
