No. Not pretty much. I hate having these conversations with you, davers, you pointedly ignore the relevant information when its presented. What Friendly D said was exactly right - the difference is that you can't take it with you, and you can't play it on whatever you want. Including your clock radio or whatever. Streaming on your laptop limits you to crummy little laptop speakers. You can't listen to it on the bus or in your car; you probably can't hook it up to your poopin quads. You are limited, and it is an inconvenience, and that is your motivation to pay for it. I call thunderous bullshit on anyone who claims to delete an album and purchase a copy when they decide tjey like it. and you dont think its a matter of time until spotify gets an iphone app, or any streaming music site for that matter?

i know its small potatoes and probably about 80 percent of you have no idea who he/they is/are but Howard Kremer from the comedy rap group "Dragon Boy Suede" has mentioned they are playing Sasquatch this year on a couple of his podcast episodes

call me crazy but putting a lock on a tent when maybe one in a thousand tents have one would surely pique a thief's interest more so than one without. more harm than good in a sense

need a place to start on them. a top two album suggestion would be nice and do you think getting their greatest hits album for a quick crash course is a bad idea?

Would any of you pay for a ticket/wristband if you had only this many bands in mind? Fri: DFA79/Foo Fighters Sat: Antlers/Radio Dept./ probably Bright Eyes (?) Sun: Beach House/Flaming Lips/Flying Lotus (assuming no conflict) Mon: Rodrigo y Gabriela/Black Mountain/Deerhunter/MSTRKRFT/Wilco and youve heard of every single band besides those or you choose to be close minded?

they brought the trailer park boys in, like its been said before, to appease the canadians. could pretty much throw a rock in any direction and hit one last year, probably spilling their molson tall boy

This year's lineup seems to be disregarding the exclusivity clause completely lol. thus making it even harder to speculate on future line ups. goody

Why does Attack Attack get brought up every single time someone mentions Brokencyde? It boggles my mind. This is literally the 7th time this has happened. Because differentiating between Attack Attack and Brokencyde is like differentiating between Allister and Homegrown. And yeah, I had to dig pretty deep into my past to come up with that analogy. what no love for the movielife?

well its obvious that Zacks took a more nostalgic approach with the 10 year anniversary inasmuch as all the headliners have played throughout the years. minus the foos. so people bitching about said headliners can always go to other shows and we'll keep our northwest flavor.
as for Guided by Voices, im pretty sure they're not as well known to the masses as you think and therefore get the lower billing. to sell tickets they need known names that the radios for the most part drilled into the minds and in some cases souls . guided by voices would get a lot of "who?"s by the not so in touch with the music seen crowd(majority, sadly)

by the way us seattle folk and surrounding area always have the capitol hill block party and bumbershoot line ups to fill whatever void we think was left vacant bandwise.
