Do any users with more than 500 posts think I should add anyone or remove anyone from the list? Sorry dude. I'll take your input too! I was more thinking about not wanting every user who registered in the last week who complains about not being allowed 2 tALk lyK th1$ to shout out every artist who they think has a chance to play Sasquatch.

How am I doing on the Rumours/Confirmations list so far this year? Do any users with more than 500 posts think I should add anyone or remove anyone from the list? Professor Pancakes, I know you want Catfish and the Bottlemen on the list, but I don't think they being at BottleRock is enough evidence to add them when only four of those artists will also play Sasquatch.

No spilled beans, just room for them to tour the U.S. around Sas time, and they were a band that were gushed about heavily by myself and Pea and others. In the past, artists that we've gushed about have been on the lineup with no rhyme or reason. Or that could just be me making too much of multiple coincidences. Either way, Jagwar Ma is hands down the best live act I've ever seen and them at Sasquatch would be so rad [culture]. Should I add them to the Rumours/Confirmations list or nah?

Here's more music to talk about.... Based on months of collective and strategic suggesting to our dear "fucking stoked" friend, I believe Jagwar Ma will be on the lineup. Alright! How did you trick him into spilling those beans?

So... Is Chance a lock? We 80% sure about LCD? The only lock is Frank. (and Local Natives, if you ask emptyfox) Chance is playing a lot of other festivals, including Boston Calling the same weekend as Sasquatch. Boston Calling and Sasquatch have 5 crossovers, so he is certainly possible, but not a lock. LCD Soundsystem has two upcoming festival gigs: Forecastle in Kentucky in July and Shaky Knees in Georgia in May. Them having activity makes us hopeful they'll play Sasquatch, but I doubt anybody is 80% sure LCD Soundsystem will be at Sasquatch.

Sadly, I removed Frightened Rabbit from this list. With them already confirmed for BottleRock and Boston Calling, it seems unlikely they play California, Washington, and Massachusetts in consecutive days.

BottleRock, Sasquatch, and Boston Calling are all May 26-28. Do we really think Frightened Rabbit will play in California, Washington, and Massachusetts on three consecutive days?

I really like that Boston Calling lineup, but I'm a little sad to see Danny Brown on there. He's already playing Movement in Detroit that weekend and while it's not impossible for a rapper to play Boston, Detroit, and Sasquatch in the same weekend, it's not an easy schedule. I really had a good feeling he'd be back this year, but I'm less confident now. Same for Run the Jewels, except their other festival is Summer Camp in Illinois.

The big Seattle alternative radio station posted something about it the other day. Although they could have been making an educated guess as well. There hasn't been an official statement from the organizers yet, but it's just looking less and less likely. I don't think Sasquatch would break news through The End, and I don't trust The End to report accurately on something like that. I think: January 16: Hidden puzzle pieces game goes live and lineup party is announced January 23: Lineup party happens and lineup video is sent out late or early on the 24th January 28: Tickets to go on sale I know dynosaurrr said the link for the video will be emailed on the 22nd, but the lineup coming out on a Sunday would be really strange. Of course, you could receive the link on the 22nd and it wouldn't be active until later, but who knows. I suppose we will find out more information on Monday when the hidden puzzle pieces game starts. But who wants to wait? Patience is not the reason for this board!

Has anyone actually affiliated with Sasquatch said "NO LINEUP RELEASE PARTY"? People seem to assume whatever will happen with the hidden puzzle pieces on Monday means there's no lineup party, but I don't think it does.

Looks like the method that information used last year to get the scoop is a dead end this year. Boooo! Thanks for checking.

I think Catfish and the Bottlemen are highly likely. I'm honestly surprised they haven't played yet and their tour dates make sense. Anaheim on the 24th, Bottlerock on the 26th, then Portland (but not Seattle) in August. I'd consider that almost enough to add them to the Rumours/Confirmations thread at this point. Hello! Longish time lurker here. I'm not sure if this makes any difference, but Catfish and the Bottlemen are supporting Green Day on their tour and will be playing at the White River Amphitheater on August 1. This lurker beat me to it. Catfish and the Bottlemen are touring with Green Day in August, and Auburn, WA is their Seattle area date. I don't think that opening slot prohibits them from playing Sasquatch, but I don't think they're a shoo-in for Sasquatch either.

For real, though, we haven't discussed Phoenix much in this thread. I consider them a mid-tier rock act, despite their previous Coachella headlining gig. They've never played Sasquatch before, and "1901" and "Lisztomania" are still alt-rock radio staples. There are actually three "guitar" groups on Shaky Knees' lineup alone that could headline Sasquatch: Phoenix, Pixies, and the Shins.

I also like how part of the outline of quotes is green and part of it is black! Interesting touch that took me a few days to notice.

For the record, I rampantly speculated Phoenix forever ago and no one believed me (including myself). Third speculation with even less evidence: Phoenix has been updating all of their social media accounts and rumors are starting to fly about them returning soon with a new album and tour. There's nothing there to believe or disbelieve, but good job mentioning their name two months ago!

And as far as another Disclosure-sized electronic artist, there's at least a small chance Sasquatch books ODESZA for Friday night before their Red Rocks gigs the next two nights.
